I got confused with your explanation on how it rode with the stock rear leaf on the front, could you explain a little more what it was doing and when it’s was doing it? I’m planning on using my rear leafs on the front aswell. What do I need to consider exactly if I want to do that?

Good vid but it's easy to pull diff and shafts. Then upper and lower control arm can come off together still attached to steering knuckle. Just need to pull locking hub to let shaft slip through

But if i wanted to shift the axle foward more, the rear hanger location wont work right? Or is there a better leaf that is longer and hangs cirrectly in the rear while pushing the axle foward?

You could do whatever you want. That hangar location is specifically for RUF. You can move it where you want but it will affect the width of your spring perches if you move the shackle location farther back. I would move the front hangar farther forward and keep the toy axle width

Wasn't the 1985 4runner with the EFI and Solid front axle made for only a year? because I have that 1985 4runner SR5 5 speed on 35's with 5:29 gearing.

@@thecrusherbugs2331 leaf setup doesn't have the same SAS travel/flex. And it's a really rough ride. Especially if you throw a heavier engine up front. 🔧 ⚙️
