Can I ask you a question maam. Most of the Philippines vloggers have a join option in their channels where you have to pay every month. They are making good money already from their u tube channels. I am thinking that they are not as squeaky clean as they come across. Am I right in my assumption?

Gordon Reid, There are a few that are using the join option as ways to help them raise funds claiming they are helping the poor, but are using them to supplement their lifestyles, some are raising funds for their channel. It is a minefield. Personally ALL donations ever sent to my channel have been donated to my charity corporation defeating poverty.

Hello maam. I have been watching your videos for 2 years now. Can you give me some advice?. Every 4 weeks i get a pension of 66000 peso. And I have savings of 70000 UK pounds. Is that enough for me to live a comfortable life in the philippines? I am just a simple man. Not materialistic. Please reply.

Gordon Reid I would suggest you leaving the vast majority of your savings in a safe place in the UK and only come here with a couple of thousand and access to your pension. You should live a comfortable life depending on where you want to live. I live in Cebu city and there are condos for rent over P66K a month, but there are also much cheaper options. So it all depends on what you want to spend and the life style you want to live. Personally I would suggest you live out of the main city but close enough to have access via public transport. Aim for an apartment at about 10K to 15K per month. You should have enough left over for a reasonable lifestyle.
