my sisters and I use to watch the Backstreet Boys VHS all the time back in the 90's when we were kids and this was one of the songs that played at the end of the VHS. we loved dancing and singing along, pretending to be a girl group too ( we were majorly into Spice Girls, Destiny's Child, TLC too ), so this brings back memories. this is radiating nostalgia.

I live in the US and this is the first time I've ever seen this video and heard the song in it's entirety. I heard a clip of it in an commercial that was on my Backstreet Boys VHS and loved the song but had no way to find it. That was in '98 and I didn't think to search for it here until now. Sir, you are correct! I happened to have this CD (enhanced CD BSB's Everybody) that I bought back in '98 and had no idea what "solid" was. Now after 15 years, I played it again on my computer, and then searched on the internet figure out who this girl group was. I found out now and for the first time ever, I was able to see this video and hear the song for the first time ever!

This song is very good pure pop - it sounds fairly cheesy but at the same time I feel it's incredibly catchy, fun and energetic in a way that pop music from today typically isn't. I particularly like the synth throughout, the beat on the chorus and the vocal harmony at the end of the bridge section right before the final two choruses.

The bridge section you are referring to is actually called a counter chorus. Very unique and gives the song quite an edge. Extremely typical when it comes to Max Martin's productions.
