Solid Minerals Development: Minister Presents Gold Bars To President Tinubu

To the nation’s capital where the minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake has presented the latest gold bar sourced from artisanal and small gold miners to president Bola Tinubu in the presidential villa in Abuja.
Mr Alake while presenting the gold bar commended the President for supporting reforms in the solid minerals sector and assured the National Gold Purchase Programme will increase the country’s reserve and boost the naira’s value.
The minister said the gold bars marked the first commercial transaction under the National Gold Purchase Program and production network of artisanal and small-scale miners and cooperatives.
President Tinubu on his part commended the Ministry for achieving a major milestone in the administration’s drive to diversify the economy.
