Snake, as Naomi mentioned MGS4, he was giving life to fulfill his destiny: saving the world and pass on his life skills to the next generation to live with a purpose. I always think of him like Batman/Bruce Wayne, Superman/Clark Kent, Spider-Man/Peter Parker, Iron Man/Tony Stark, & Darkman/Peyton Westlake.

What I consider to be yet another example of Snavid never giving up, would be the "pointless" gesture of quitting smoking when knowing he has 3 months left to live It will change nothing, but still he decides to try to be a better version of himself, maybe for Sunny, maybe just out of pure defiance against the hardships of the world.... Or maybe to "fight" addiction, since he no longer has to fight literally

another great video. one thing your video pointed out to me is that Snavid remained true to himself throughout the whole series. Meaning, he was dedicated to saving humanity and never let that drive disappear. When you look at BB, the Boss, the other snakes, and Raiden, they all let the world change them and change their goals. Snake knew his goal and never changed. I absolutely love your videos!

Fun fact snavid technically broke the geneva conventions by using a barbed weapon and a non registered weapon when he burned bb, also bb trying to monopolize oil isn't that bad as the us has been doing it for centuries
