They really are but I think where it comes from is that they ship them sometimes, which y'know, they're real people and just friends. And they put stuff in that could be considered cringe, personally I don't like the grian wings or any of them that try and make them anthropomorphic. But yeah, it is pretty cool sometimes, and I respect them for doing that stuff in public.

For example, I personally don't see mumbo(the character) as a vempire so I didn't include it in my mumbo cosplay but I did for example change the full suit into just a vest like a lot of fanart because it felt natural to me.

The Ariana Griande thing was from season 6, when Mumbo lost his intro music. Grian hired Ariana GRIANde to sing a new theme song. As for the bloody Mumbo, its from season 8 where Mumbo became a kind of vampire, whatever he eats he turns into (he turned into a potato, a carrot, a pig, and then back to ‘human’ by consuming Grian’s soul) Thats why Mumbo has a waffle on the back of his head like Grian.
