This build is cool, bob is and iconic meme from SW, but the price is just off. If it drops below 30, I'll instant buy it though.

When I was in 5th grade (2011/2012), one of my friends came up with a concept for Episode VII where many Jedi come back - Eeth Koth, Kit Fisto (because he refused to believe he’s dead because he’s his favorite), Quinlan Vos, and Jedi Bob, except Jedi Bob was secretly a Sith Lord the whole time.

Printed pieces and a better minifig selection would make the $40 price tag far more palatable, but as it stands now it's a bit absurd. That said, I am very very happy that Lego FINALLY made a Delta 7 with a proper pointed nose and I hope they continue that with future Delta 7 models.

I feel like the Ackbar Trooper would have been cool if they took that head mold, did it in white and gave it a "clone trooper" print reshaped to make sense for the head. Would have made it this unique piece to collect instead of something I could mash together with sets I already own.

The fighter is fine, but I agree switch out the two lame figures for two clone pilots and then include a swoop bike as found in the clone battle pack that’s out right now and then I think the value is there

I love the design of this Delta-7. I'm calling it the Crimson Demon since it's like the opposite of the Azure Angel. My only complaint with the design is the lack of a droid socket for SR-V0

I've just got my hands on the set, and while it's not intended, you can actually fit SR-V0 into the "storage" part of the set if you take off the legs. As long as you don't fully push it in, it actually fits in very naturally.

The point of this set is that it's kinda meta. The akbar fig is a mismatch on purpose to hint at the weird figures that kids make. There's a sort of simplified style to the ship too to look like a set from 2002 even though it has 2024 build styles. It's a really clever design when you think about it

I think this should have been a $30 set. For 305 pieces, it just makes sense for it to be $30. Obviously, im glad to see Bob return (and he is beautiful), but they should have included at least either another Phase 1 clone. But the build is great! I get that people will buy this for the Jedi Bob figure. But this build is still really cool.

Best guess (not confirmed) for the wings being sorted that way is to ensure they don't package 2 wedge plates of the same orientation. LEGO probably did quality control & realized their sorting machines tended to double up on 1 piece more than they considered acceptable. I also prefer clone Ackbar to a clone pilot as more Mon Calamari is preferable to more clones, but you can't please everyone.

The Gonk is the same colour as the OG super battle droids from the gunship (or at least close enough for my point), I’m pretty sure that the B2’s in the show/film/thing will probably turn into Gonks while the Clones become Ackbars. In other words the blue gonk is the blue super battle droids with the context of the Rebuild the Galaxy setting.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I really like the G0nk droid! They're one of my favourite star wars droids and I'm happy, personally, to get one in this set. Though, I do agree that $40 is a bit steep for this.

I like the collor scheme and the design it is for me for some reason nostalgic. I like obviously the return of Jedi Bob. I actually like the 2 other figures. But it would have been better if they would include or change the donk droid to some other figure.

i don't think the other two are wasted minifugres, it's based off rebuild the galaxy, so they couldn't really do anything they wanted, i like the ackbar trooper, i wish they had included a side build for the other two figures though for $40

It's simply nostalgia. When schools did scholastic book fairs, one of the books was the Lego visual dictionary (the one he showed) and it was very popular at them and it's where I bought mine. Kid me fell in love with all the old Lego sets and figs in that book with a big one being Jedi Bob. I think that's where all the hype comes from. The nostalgia around that book. So I think it's heavily dependent on your age and whether or not you had that book growing up.

It's a mix of parts and not an actual figure. The helmet is from Clone Army Customs, the body is from the old Z-95 Headhunter set, and the legs are just the basic modern clone legs.

I do understand the gripes with the figs to an extent but at the end of the day this set is releasing to support the new tv show. I feel they have done enough fan service by simply having jedi bob in the show and releasing a set, the new show is aimed kids and not adult collectors so your issues with the figs is invalid. I don't know but as an adult myself I don't understand this obsession with every set having to include some random clone variant to appease these clone wars era man children. Its like listening to a broken record....... they would have every set just be a clone set until they realise they've killed their own hobby because the majority of us don't care about clone troopers or the clone wars tv show.

Since no one of us knows the Rebuild the Galaxy show yet, I don't think we can say, that the other figures beside Jedi bob are trash. I mean, does anyone no what role they are playing? Of course it's a meme set, but it's certainly based off of something specific being the Rebuild the Galaxy show. Still you are very right. The set isn't worth its prize. Definitley a non-buy set for me.
