SolidCore CoreXY: X-Carriage Pulley Stack & Assembly
3ddistributed....
Here's how the x-carriage idler pulleys stack up and assemble. The GT2 timing belts should run along the same plane as the rails. Depending on GT2 pulley brand used different amount of washers may need to be used. To avoid belt tensioning issues, keep the belt path as parallel as possible with the x-axis with proper spacers to minimize vertical movement of the idler pulleys.

I don't recommend using a Nylon washer in the bearing stack. What may happen is that the washer will smash down between the inner bearing ring and the bearing shield. Instead I recommend using the correct size spacer that only touches the inner bearing. Also, instead of using a generic bolt for the bearing shaft, I would cnc a correct diameter shaft with inner threads at each ends.

Yeah Im probably going to start using shoulder bolts. I went with Nylon because I couldnt find any washers that didnt interfere or radially constrain the bearing race. I'll have to make some I guess.

Is that a PEEK heatsink like from the old j-head hotends?

Yes I broke my hotend so I just used an old Peek one that we machined a long time ago. We actually started off manufacturing hotends but E3D was better so we stopped.

Could have just threaded the top hole instead of the bottom one XD

Yeah it can be either way. I just think it looks better with the head of the screw on top.
