The lyrics truly hit the core of the question about unnecessary human suffering, which is that evil is not just a trait of the enemy; it is deeply embedded within all of us. Thus to even begin dealing with the issue properly, we ought to honestly recognize our own capacity for evil before we start battling the evil in others.

Oh My God! So intense, so real, so profound... I do vocals on my band from Brazil, and we're trying to innovate in the metalcore scenery around here... The first band that touched me like this was Underoath in its early years, before Aaron left... but this thing is wonderful. Congratulations for this song and featuring Joel from Being as an Ocean was simply awesome. Excellent work :D God Bless You

this band are music not only for the ears, but for the soul. The feature spot of Joel Quartuccio definitely adds to this. Silent Planet alongside Being As An Ocean have allowed me to do a lot of self healing and I can only hope others who have felt like I have manage to find release through this band.

@kirbaaaay10 жыл бұрын
Underoath was christian though
@highflowerOG10 жыл бұрын
kirby TFTV. Actually, underoath was misinterpreted as a christian band. The band members were christian, and they may have had some christian ideals written into their songs, but the lead singer said in an interview that "We are all christians in a band. Not a christian band."
@chaddebeau030810 жыл бұрын
***** this may be true in the later years but from 1997-2003 with Dallas they were a christian band. They even had a lyric that said "jesus christ, I love you"

***** I think what he was trying to say that he didn't want to alienate certain fans of the band by being labeled as a "Christian" band. They would limit their potential fan base and ministry opportunities if they did.

Why Thomas plays guitar on the Music Videos, if he plays bass the the record and live?
@domingovargasanchondo4508 жыл бұрын
They have always switched instruments in the beginning, Thomas played guitar and keys live at first. There was also Ryan who played guitar and another Garret that played bass, then when Mitch and Igor joined Silent Planet they filled in their touring positions as bassist and guitarist as Ryan and Garret were no longer active in Silent Planet and Spencer (ginger) doesn't like touring so he stays home writing the music. Thomas and Mitch ended up switching instruments and that's the way it's been for the past two years. And Igor left too.
