Reach inside. Heal the wound. Make us whole. God, this band gives me chills.

while I'm not religious, this album is probably my 2nd favorite album ever. their lyrics are so gorgeous and captivate the hell out of me without alienating me because of my religious views. not to mention the actual music is so uniqiue and refreshing because no one is doing anything like this. this album takes the cake as the most powerful and meaningful music I've ever listened to.

Same here. Absolutely not religious. But Silent Planet addresses all kinds of subjects in a poetic and musically astounding way. Just ordered all 3 albums.

The sheer symbolism that being a Christian and the struggles along with it just make these kinds of albums sick. Personally, my favourite band right now, with this being my favourite album.

Everyone in my area loves the religious values this band demonstrates, but I just love how much they break the forth wall in some songs. Also, the songs themselves deserve more musical recognition than they get.

Somehow. Somehow you made an even deeper and more perfect album than The Night God Slept. Idk how, but good work.

I know the second to last line is "heal the wound", but I absolutely love how it also sounds like he's singing "heal the world".
@Mr.Ripper1134 жыл бұрын
This song has many meanings to it. My interpretation of it, it's about a man who fought in a war and his son was born into it. The line "my love, buried beneath the veil machine", is him saying he is the machine and his love is buried beneath him. He regrets the war and Hope's the trauma and wounds from the war would be put aside and make them whole again.

This is my favorite band and both album and this song are amazing. One of the things I love most about them is the fact that they put footnotes with citations in the lyrics, but just a little confused as to where footnote [09] is
