@kaboom-zf2bl I think you may want to learn what expression cues are... also learn that there's more human beings than you in this world and different people have a tendency to teach and learn in different ways, that means someone may achieve a better sense of understanding by being able to watch their tutor talking to them while other people may get distracted, its not one size fits all, but sure there's one thing that fits all situations and that its deep consciousness and understanding as well as modesty and appreciation. Rudeness translates very easily by writing on the internet even can be misinterpreted, opinions are always welcomed when thrown out from a sense of kindness and love. Dont know and I dont mean to know from where your comments where coming when they were being written, but surely behind those comments there's a kind and loving person that for some reason wrote a comment that turned out to be not as kind as it may have to in another situation, I do not judge you, but Im sure there's more to you than your comment and surely you can find the reason for such outcome and be more kind to the world in the future because that would do more kindness to you too. peace.

Hi Atendra, thank you for your feedback and expressing your concerns about the pricing of the course. I understand that the current price may seem high, especially for students from India and other regions with different income levels. I want to assure you that the pricing of the course is determined based on several factors, including the extensive content, quality of instruction, and ongoing support provided throughout the course. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive course like this requires significant time, effort, and resources. However, I understand the importance of accessibility and catering to diverse backgrounds. In the future, I will take your feedback into consideration and explore options to provide more affordable alternatives, such as offering discounts, payment plans, or even creating shorter, more focused courses that are more budget-friendly. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I appreciate your understanding. I am here to support you on your learning journey, and I value your input in making my courses more accessible to students worldwide.

Hi, thank you for this quick tutorial! To this day I´ve been working mostly in Inventor (partly in Fusion and NX) and now I was hired as a contractor to startup, where Solidworks is demanded. Do you have some course for people like me? That means people that are fluent in "engineering modeling language" - understanding from basic sketching to making large assemblies, but need quick introduction to SolidWorks to assimilate in new enviroment? Overall all 3D CADs works similar, but there are little differences, that could be frustrating. Thanks for your respond.

I'd ask it differently! What kind of stuff would you like to be able to model, if I could make you an expert in any CAD software in a blink of an eye today? Organic geometries? Not solidworks. Engineering designs and mechanical parts? DEFINATELY soldiworks. Depends on your needs. Architectural stuff? not solidworks

I've gotten pretty good with beginner level solidworks design and made functional parts, but I'm having a really hard time converting solids into sheet metal parts that can be ordered via Send Cut Send and welded together (think of a cube broken down into 6 seperate flat sheets of steel with tight-tolerance locating tabs that allow it to be assembled without tools) how would I go about making such a part? I just get errors when using the ripping tool and I don't want to use bends
@with-Aryan
@with-Aryan 11 ай бұрын
well this is not a novice move. you need to know more about the fundamentals and the sheet metal tools. there are tools inside the sheet metal tab that let you convert your solid into the closest sheet form you can.

Hello Aryan, The long intro (00:00 to 2:30) was a bit of a turn off, and it could just have been this much (00:49 to 01:30). 😬 Other than that, your whole tutorial was GREAT!! Very good teaching methods. It’s also very nice to see you on-screen where you elaborate on your teachings using your body gestures and make virtual “eye contact” with your students. Wonderful that you started with proper hands/finger placement on the keyboard. I've been a graphic designer & retoucher for over 30 years and that's also the first tip I teach when I do some teaching. EXCELLENT CONTENT!!!!!👌🏽👍🏽👊🏼

Good day, This whole workflow is called Reverse Engineering. Start by scanning the model, then import it into SOLIDWORKS, from there you can use the "Direct Editing" tools, these do not depend upon which software/ how the geometry was created, it is powerful enough to change it as needed.

I mean its still a hit or miss, and I would not trust it with any real projects, its better to do it yourself by learning a new skill, since it also gives you a part which you can then make changes to and tweak if needed.

Does solidworks use an axis? Before I retired I was using catia. I would hide all xyz planes and only work off of an axis system. That always worked better for me. Thanks
@with-Aryan
@with-Aryan 5 ай бұрын
SOLIDWORKS does have an axis for visual purposes, but to start a sketch you would need a plane. Thus you would have to create reference planes as needed.

Good day Ricky, You can get a trial for SOLIDWORKS if you head over to their official website, but if you want to really study I would highly suggest the $99/year student version.

Good day Ehsana, Yes! if the Pro course is too expensive and you are a student I offer a 50% discount, with all the perks at a 1year validity of the course. Apart from this a good place to start is my FREE Mini Course, to get you started. Send me an email at info@solidworkstutorials.net , if that is something you will be interested in.

Beside SolidWorks can you name some other software that compete with SolidWorks and most important can you say where does SketchUp stand in this list or is it anywhere near with these industrial 3d modeling software ?
@with-Aryan
@with-Aryan 7 ай бұрын
AutoDesk Inventor, Fusion 360, CATIA, Rhino Sketch Up is more suited for environment designs than objects. The first four I named are your good alternatives.

Hello sir can you please make a video on how to download the free 60 days student version of solidworks as I am facing problems while downloading it. The problem comes when registering for the version it says "please enter a valid SDK ID" but I copied and pasted the same as it was shown on the screen. The only error is the SDK ID which the solidworks provided me ie "TEMPDL". PLEAS HELP ME OUT SIR AS I AM EAGERLY WAITING TO LEARN SOLIDWORKS.
@with-Aryan
@with-Aryan Жыл бұрын
I understand the frustration you're experiencing while trying to download the SolidWorks Student Edition. I'd be more than happy to create a detailed video guide to walk you through the process. However, for immediate assistance, here are some steps you might want to consider. The error you're encountering often happens when there's an issue with the SDK-ID you're using. Typically, the SDK-ID is provided by your school or the institution you're affiliated with. If "TEMPDL" is not working, it might not be the right SDK-ID, or there might be an error on SolidWorks' end. Verify the SDK-ID: Contact your school or institution to verify the SDK-ID they provided. Sometimes there might be a mistake, or it could have been changed. Copy-Paste: Make sure you're copying and pasting correctly. Ensure there are no leading or trailing spaces when you paste the ID, which can often happen inadvertently. SolidWorks Customer Support: If you've confirmed the SDK-ID is correct and you're still encountering the issue, it may be worth reaching out to SolidWorks' customer support. There might be an issue on their end that needs to be resolved. Meanwhile, I'll work on creating the video guide to assist you further. Thanks for your patience and interest in learning SolidWorks!

@@with-Aryan Sir I got the "TEMPDL" code while registering on the student trial. The steps I followed are: 1. While registering for student trail version I gave my details. 2. Then the solidworks gave me a SDK ID "TEMPDL" which I need to copy and paste in the next step. 3. Then a new page open up that again asked my details like name, role, version. Then when it asked me that if I had a serial number starting with "9020" I clicked on "no" then it asked me the SDK ID which was given to me in the step3. I first copy pasted and it didn't work. Then I tried typing manually and again it didn't work. I would get the 60 days trail serial numbers after completing this step. But when I put the SDK ID it says "enter a valid SDK ID" which they provided me. I think this is an error from the solidworks end. Please make a video on how to fix this problem as It would be helpful for me and those who are facing the same issue 😔😔

Do you know how to embed an interactive SolidWorks model into a website?
@michaeltownsend1206
@michaeltownsend1206 Жыл бұрын
You could post to content central and they provide you with a web frame that you can import into a site. Other options would be to use edrawings api. I have used it before to embed edrawings viewers into excel
@with-Aryan
@with-Aryan Жыл бұрын
SolidWorks itself does not provide a direct way to embed 3D models into a website, you can use a platform like Sketchfab to achieve this. Here's a simplified process: Export your SolidWorks model: You need to export your 3D model as a file format that can be uploaded to Sketchfab. Typically, a format like .OBJ or .STL should work. Create a Sketchfab account: Go to Sketchfab and create an account if you don't already have one. Upload your model: Once you're signed in, click on the Upload button. Select the 3D file you exported from SolidWorks, and follow the steps. Embed the model on your website: After uploading, Sketchfab will provide you with an code that you can use to embed the model on your website.
