the tanks are dowloaded into the library, the same as toolbox

Hello, I am a mechanical engineer, I moved from manufacturing industry to oil & gas engineering and construction, I am quit experienced with Solidworks, I wonder if solidworks will be useful in my new field with its capabilities of routing, weldement .... or I will need other solution like Revit and CADWorx... thank you

Is it only made by Solidworks? Does it can realize tanks and other units in the software?

did you create, before hand, all of the pipe fittings in your design library?

I am late to respond to this but actually those fittings etc., are available in Solidworks premium under Routing ad-in. You don't have to create them yourself. Hope this helps.

How can a customer ask you to make a 3D model of what he sent you? Why couldn't he simply done it himself when he managed to make the entire floor layout and proper positioning all of the equipment.

This is for when a customer provides a 2D layout on a program such as AutoCAD where there is no 3D modelling available. I hope this helps.
