It always is with surfacing. It was and still is the part that makes or breaks my surfacing efforts. Every time I think I can get away without a plan, it bites me and I have to do it anyway. haha

Killer Tut! Great problem solving and solutions. I will be revisiting this one, I am sure. Thanks! (edit) The derived sketch tip knocked me over. I had to check to see if '18 has it which of course it does, I just have been ignorant of it till now.

I remember learning about derived sketch as well. It was a lightbulb moment. They are insanely useful and in my experience are very stable when set up properly. Before that I would be converting edges from all types of models and sketches. Then when something changed (and it always does) the whole tree would go red haha.

18:10 it "looks" like the Through Holes are not the same size ... Any one else Cringing at this? I trust you will resolve.. Oh the illusion of Hidden Lines.

Hi Josh, I'm stuck on the the first boundary surface step. I've followed the instructions carefully and can't seem to make it work. All my selection and settings are identical to yours. Any idea what might be the problem? many thanks, Will (Excellent video btw I've learnt a lot!)

Just fixed it! I added an unnecessary knit surface after the surface fill that was messing it up.

Thank you, I think? The trick with surfacing is taking something that looks complicated and isolating the uncomplicated parts. Then, work up from there.
