I did this drawing of yours on Inventor and it runs perfectly. The only problem I had was with the twisted gear, as older versions of inventor does not have this tool. However I improvised and got it right at least in appearance. Thanks for your tutorial, you are a very generous man and an excellent tutor. How about drawing a six cylider or V8 engine. That will be much appreciated.and will keep me going in my retirement.

Great tutorial. At 10:10 I think you should have created a new plane offset 12.5 mm from the front plane. Then mirrored the revolve1 feature using this new plane instead of using linear pattern. The results seem much better this way. I have only completed the engine block so far so I apologize if you have fixed this later in the video.

I am using a HP envy M6 laptop with Core i5 processor, 6GB RAM and 2.5GB AMD Radeon 7670M graphics but its just to shitty for SolidWorks. In fact I am scared of frying my processor so I avoid heavy graphics tasking such as photorealistic view. I'll move on to something higher soon though. Good job you're doing, keep it up!

I look very much on your very tutoring tutorials.I learned a lot from you, thank you I'm sorry for my criticism, but this engine would never work. The crankshaft must have a smaller toothed wheel, cam big wheel
@CADCAMTUTORIALBYMAHTABALAM7 жыл бұрын
this is not the real engine or image, just a working model for beginners for sketch , thanks for suggestion i will try to close my projects with realism,
@JRichard19737 жыл бұрын
Yes of course. Your work is great, I know it's just a sketch, but it was a lot of work. If there was no technical error, it would be top! I'm looking forward to your next tutorials Richard
@jaferhussain49287 жыл бұрын
Nice tutorial, I appreciate your skills and presentation.But sorry to say you that, each cylinder must have two valves ( suction and exhaust ), hence in two cylinder engine, you should have kept 4 valves and related structure. Also number of teeth on cam and crank shaft gears must be reversed in your design.
