SOLIDWORKS Tutorial - Importing DWG

DFX is not working in my pc any ideas solidworks 2018b ?

Does this have to be added as an add-in in solidworks to be able to work? I've tried everything trying to open the DWG file and all I get is errors. 2017 Solidworks user.

Good Morning Amelia, There is not a specific add-in that controls this process. The first thing to do is make sure you are using a certified graphics card and driver combo. www.solidworks.com/support/hardware-certification/ Beyond that it is hard to say with out looking at your specific files. Your best bet is going to be to reach out to your VAR and see if their tech support can help get you pointed in the right direction.

Hello, the DWG/DXF import options should also exist in SOLIDWORKS 2018.
