Modular plastic chain conveyor design assembly and motion study in solidworks
A Flexible plastic chain conveyor which is generally used in food processing industries, to transfer light weight loads from one place to another.
This type of conveyors are easy to install, maintain and readjust according to the requirements.
Sharp Turns, Incline/decline spirals and multiple turns are easily possible with a plastic chain conveyor.
This project is all about designing the chain and sprockets of the conveyor and then performing a motion analysis on it.

Thank you for your great videos. I have a problem, you may help me because I am working on it for days. There is a large file that has average 5 million faces. Solidworks accept it as graphic body. How can I turn it to a solid body without deformations? Because I have to modificate it. Thank you.

Very nice job i like your videos, i have 1 question how do you know the dimensions for the construction of the chain? for example if i want to draw it with pich 30 but i dont know the other dimensions how i could calculate it?

thanks a lot!! For designing anything from scratch (no dimensions known): 1. You can get the Idea of certain dimensions with given conditions or the main purpose/use of the product 2. some dimensions are assumed, then in assembly u will further refine that dimensions and the End dimensions will be obtained after doing various analysis on the design (this is what I use in my projects)
