@kaboom-zf2bl I think you may want to learn what expression cues are... also learn that there's more human beings than you in this world and different people have a tendency to teach and learn in different ways, that means someone may achieve a better sense of understanding by being able to watch their tutor talking to them while other people may get distracted, its not one size fits all, but sure there's one thing that fits all situations and that its deep consciousness and understanding as well as modesty and appreciation. Rudeness translates very easily by writing on the internet even can be misinterpreted, opinions are always welcomed when thrown out from a sense of kindness and love. Dont know and I dont mean to know from where your comments where coming when they were being written, but surely behind those comments there's a kind and loving person that for some reason wrote a comment that turned out to be not as kind as it may have to in another situation, I do not judge you, but Im sure there's more to you than your comment and surely you can find the reason for such outcome and be more kind to the world in the future because that would do more kindness to you too. peace.

I haven’t touched solid works since the 90’s in collage. I just came back and revisited wanting to learn again this portion I would say fast but I had to rewind and see what you were doing. I loved it. I built couple models in no time. Mind you I haven’t touched this stuff for over given or take 30yrs. Complements in how you repeated the explanation again. Awesome work. Thank you.

Hello Aryan, The long intro (00:00 to 2:30) was a bit of a turn off, and it could just have been this much (00:49 to 01:30). 😬 Other than that, your whole tutorial was GREAT!! Very good teaching methods. It’s also very nice to see you on-screen where you elaborate on your teachings using your body gestures and make virtual “eye contact” with your students. Wonderful that you started with proper hands/finger placement on the keyboard. I've been a graphic designer & retoucher for over 30 years and that's also the first tip I teach when I do some teaching. EXCELLENT CONTENT!!!!!👌🏽👍🏽👊🏼

Hi Atendra, thank you for your feedback and expressing your concerns about the pricing of the course. I understand that the current price may seem high, especially for students from India and other regions with different income levels. I want to assure you that the pricing of the course is determined based on several factors, including the extensive content, quality of instruction, and ongoing support provided throughout the course. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive course like this requires significant time, effort, and resources. However, I understand the importance of accessibility and catering to diverse backgrounds. In the future, I will take your feedback into consideration and explore options to provide more affordable alternatives, such as offering discounts, payment plans, or even creating shorter, more focused courses that are more budget-friendly. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I appreciate your understanding. I am here to support you on your learning journey, and I value your input in making my courses more accessible to students worldwide.

Your opening monologue is a great way to chase away the 20% of people who are neurodivergent. The idea of doing something automatically is a challene for the many of us who were not endowed with a large working memory. The very assumptions you make in your approach to learning are those that educators everywhere are trained to avoid. You know your subject matter yet you do not understand teaching
@with-aryan
@with-aryan 2 ай бұрын
I appreciate your feedback, and you're absolutely right-everyone approaches learning differently, and I should be more mindful of that. My intent is always to help, but I can see how my approach might not resonate with everyone, especially those who learn in a different way. The goal should be to create content that supports all kinds of learners, whether they're neurodivergent or neurotypical. I'll definitely keep this in mind and look at ways to make my material more accessible and supportive for people who face challenges with things like working memory or learning something new in steps rather than all at once. Thanks for pointing this out-I’m always trying to improve how I teach, and your insight helps me get better at it. If you have any specific suggestions or ideas for how I can adapt my teaching style to make it more inclusive, I’d really love to hear them!

I really enjoy your style of teaching, going slow but in depth and in a way that encourages thinking like an engineer. Do you also offer something like a 'guided tour' for people who are already very familiar with the principles of CAD, but are new to the Solidworks software package? I spent all my professional carreer on CATIA, designing cast aluminium engine parts for a big car manufacturer, and I am considering to expand my repertoire to other programs with the context of possibly switching to a different employer. What I'd need is more 'where does [tool XYZ] live?' than 'How do I think with planes and relations?', if you get what I mean.

Not ideally to create your models, since most professional software is made for computers/laptops, but after you build a model on a computer its easier to make changes with an Ipad, if you use Cloud based CAD platforms like 3DExperience.

Hi teacher. First of all, i would like to appreciate you for this video, because i've watched all of 45 minutes without any pause or stops, that was so interesting , but i've just started and it's a little bit dufficult for le to understand how does this application works and how to become more confident on ourselves and be an qualified engineer of(car, aeroplane) etc. Actually, i'm an aircraft engineer who just used this application and he wanted to find a solution to get it. Anyway, thank you that you had teached me about this application))
@with-aryan
@with-aryan 2 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you for your kind words! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the video and stuck with it for the full 45 minutes-means a lot to me! I get that starting out with SolidWorks can feel a bit overwhelming, especially with your background in aircraft engineering where precision is critical. The best way to build confidence is through practice, especially by working on projects that align with your field, like designing components for aircraft or cars. Start with the basics, get comfortable with sketching, parts, and assemblies, and then challenge yourself with more complex designs. If you're ever stuck or need guidance on a specific topic, feel free to ask. You've already got the engineering mindset, so once you're familiar with the tools, you'll be flying through SolidWorks in no time. Keep at it, and thanks again for watching!

I've gotten pretty good with beginner level solidworks design and made functional parts, but I'm having a really hard time converting solids into sheet metal parts that can be ordered via Send Cut Send and welded together (think of a cube broken down into 6 seperate flat sheets of steel with tight-tolerance locating tabs that allow it to be assembled without tools) how would I go about making such a part? I just get errors when using the ripping tool and I don't want to use bends
@with-aryan

well this is not a novice move. you need to know more about the fundamentals and the sheet metal tools. there are tools inside the sheet metal tab that let you convert your solid into the closest sheet form you can.

Hi, thank you for this quick tutorial! To this day I´ve been working mostly in Inventor (partly in Fusion and NX) and now I was hired as a contractor to startup, where Solidworks is demanded. Do you have some course for people like me? That means people that are fluent in "engineering modeling language" - understanding from basic sketching to making large assemblies, but need quick introduction to SolidWorks to assimilate in new enviroment? Overall all 3D CADs works similar, but there are little differences, that could be frustrating. Thanks for your respond.

I was wondering, since some of the interested in learning #solidworks probably need to built the product; is there any chapter in which you talk about standard components like bearings, bolts, etc. I would like to know if the drawings that suppliers of a component (a servomotor for example) provide on its website, can be used in #solidworks or, it is needed to draw each component from zero. Fast, but excellent. I assume I can use SolidWorks for a residential house plan. Correct?
@with-aryan
@with-aryan Жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely. As long as you know what is safe and the correct design codes that apply in your region SOLIDWORKS can handle it.

Don't take it hard on yourself. The hardware is not going to be an issue, just any decent laptop can handle solidworks these days

I'm a beginner looking to start with the Solidworks 3D Creator browser-based. Will watching these videos help me get familiar with the browser-based user interface? Or would it be difficult to follow along as a beginner? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Yes they would, but you have a longer journey ahead of you and to go all the way, you’ll need a proper training and I have the course for that. Check my website. Link in the description 👍🏽

Does solidworks use an axis? Before I retired I was using catia. I would hide all xyz planes and only work off of an axis system. That always worked better for me. Thanks
@with-aryan
@with-aryan Жыл бұрын
SOLIDWORKS does have an axis for visual purposes, but to start a sketch you would need a plane. Thus you would have to create reference planes as needed.

Hi aryan Great video and very easy to follow. Working with metal , timber and other materials. Building , furniture design and machinery parts. I was looking at sketchup , but in your opinion which would be better between the two ?

You should really reconsider your price. Don't reflect on what the present market price is for your product but try to assess what the price-elasticity is. You might be able to gain much larger revenue by dropping your prices.
@with-aryan

the present market price for similar products (quality-wise) starts at $2k and goes up to $5k and they are no nearly as good

If you have any specific question send me an email and I'll do my best to send you a solution to the same when I get time. My Pro course is 20+ hrs long, so I can spend enough time and take things slower. Send me an email for the same if that is something that interests you.
