Spot on review. I have had two injuries playing tennis, one was with a pure strike 98 and secondly with the white out v1. I really liked the solinco however, it was causing too much pain on my wrist and sold it. I have been playing with a percept 320 without any pain.

I've heard from numerous sources that Solinco will apparently continue to provide BOTH the v1 and v2 for the foreseeable future. If true, that's great news, and a paradigm breaker.

I almost picked up the 18x20 V1. I ended up going with the Gravity Pro. I love the GP but I wish it had a tad more power and maneuverability. The Prostaff X seems to cover those weaknesses but I'm really interested in this new Whiteout V2

Appreciate the comparisons to other rackets and where this one lands on the scale. The torsional stability in the v9 is indeed an issue I had, while I’m also wondering whether the GPro I’ve been maining is the right racket for me (though it feels so good). This v2 is definitely worth a test run, probably together with the T-fight 305S 😊, looking forward to that review.

I didn't see a racquet in the video? where was it and why were yall just swinging your hands around at the ball?
@caseysmith54415 күн бұрын
Problem is most racquets average players want so plush they can use bad form getting away with it and injure themselves using said bad form one so plush muted that nobody can tell if the ball is hit a bit off or in the sweet spot. This is leading to the amount of injuries we are seeing in arms, shoulders, and muscle overuse fatigue.
@AlexanderAndreev179915 күн бұрын
I would love to know more about the maneuverability, how does it compares to other raquets, specifically PA98.
@brunis_m15 күн бұрын
I think that the way you describe the harshness/discomfort or feedback if you will, matches what I feel from my Regna 98. It feels super amazing as long as you hit the sweetspot. As soon as you’re off by a centimeter, then it’s no fun. Not sure if you tried this one out to be able to tell me if I’m alone in this impression
@TennCom15 күн бұрын
Yeah I've noticed the sweet spot drop off with my Regna as well. I'm not finding it as harsh as this V1 Solinco was, but its much more significant than any current Yonex
@OliverBelmont-g5b15 күн бұрын
Agreeeed, I have a regna 100 and I’m going to switch to natural or multi because of the harshness of the frame + poly strings

How would this compare to the gravity tour 98? Planning to move from PA100 in search of more control to either the gravity tour, v2 WO, or head extreme pro
@LuisLunaTarazon15 күн бұрын
Since the lighter version isn't foam-filled, is there any chance the 290-gram Whiteout V2 might at least partially solve the issue of the muted feel? I wonder if adding weight to a comparable spec as the 305, or beyond like the Pure Aero Rafa (which is the same weight in stock form) might give the best of both worlds from the V1 and V2. It hurts to hear that Solinco is following the same trend as everyone else with regards to muting the feel in their rackets. It's completely understandable, though, since that's what the market demands right now. I just wish that we had other crisp options outside of the Pro Staff 97. I might need to get one of those before that also goes the way of the Dodo bird.

Which recent 98 "control" frame do you think has the most "feel/feedback/least muted" feeling? I grew up playing with a an old PD Roddick 2012 with a very high level of racket vibration, which I actually highly prefer and find it harder and harder to find a somewhat similar feel with all companies making rackets generally muted for comfort. I've been demoing a lot of different rackets over the past few months and have been finding the right racket. I've somewhat narrowed my search down to the 2024 PS 98 16x19 and the Head GT98, but am seriously considering if it is worth demoing the Solinco Whiteout v1 and the new TFight 305. Your thoughts on which of the four rackets I've just mentioned provides the least muted feeling?
@TennCom15 күн бұрын
TFIGHT is the most connected no doubt about it. Then the Gravity but I think you'll llike the TFIGHT more coming from the Rod

I think at 9 years old she should still probably being using a 25 or 26 inch junior racquet. Whichever paint job or pro endorsement she likes the best. Racquets don't matter that much at 9, it's more important that shes having fun and using a racquet she likes will add to that.

Oke thank you, Which strings should she use? Velocity MLT or tecnifibre-one biphase, or tecnifibre NXT or the other? Please answer my quetion because its make me confused.. Thank you somuch..❤
@TennCom9 күн бұрын
@ any of the ones you mentioned is fine. I'd probably just do the cheapest one. At this stage, she's developing so fast so there's no point in chasing a "perfect setup." Only consider changing things if her coach suggests a longer or heavier racquet. Once her level stabilizes around 15-16 then racquet choice can become more important but right now I think its more about helping her enjoy the game. The best players in the world general love tennis the most.
