Great review and big fan of your reviews/TennCom! I am a 4.0 level player and I just got the 305s and I really like Toroline O-toro (testing out the white version) in it with the tension at 50 in the mains and 48 in the crosses. With the 18x19 pattern I feel like the tension might need to be slightly lower in the crosses to maximize more pocketing, power and plow. Other aspect to highlight is that it is faster/easier to swing the 305s over the previous model when trying to dictate, hit sharp angle shots, put away short balls and easier to move for volleys at the net (overall a better doubles frame over the previous model in my opinion). I like the 305s more over the previous model on serves and returns because it moves faster for me. Overall, I am excited to test out other strings and tensions in the 305s, plus play more singles with it before USTA seasons ramp up in the Spring. Lastly, the clean glossy cosmetic is AWESOME!

Thanks Beckett. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed your comprehensive review. Your previous video on the decline of tennis ball quality in recent years got me thinking about how great of a difference the ball really makes. I swear by the US Open XD balls, and anecdotally at least, the disparity between them and say the Dunlop ATP balls is immense. I find even the Babolat Gold balls to be slow and heavy in comparison, fluffing up much more readily. Most of the content on the internet regarding tennis balls is either biased, uninformative, and outdated, and I feel the importance of balls is often overlooked. I would love to see your spin 🎾 on the current tennis ball offerings in a future video comparison/review, if that’s something you’d be interested in doing. Love the impartiality and genuine passion you apply to every video. So from an aspiring tennis nerd, keep up the good work!

Great Review! what i was seeking since I demo both already this week. I decided to get both to play/use extended time to decide which one is best for me. But I can play with both well ! the 305S is great against hard and heavy hitters and the 300S is so light and great to swing fast and through the ball. I bet I will end up using both depending on my opponents and how I feel that day. Coming from Solinco Whiteout XTD 18x20 and 16x19. The Tflight just swing so much easier than the Solinco's. I though about the 300 Tflight but i do not want to demo another racquet and I view the 100 sq will just slow down the swing speed a bit. Extra spin verses the 300S is not what I want. I prefer to flat out the shot when needed. Thanks again for the review ! on both together.

Curious your opinion between the Aero 100 & 98
@HoboHabilis19 сағат бұрын
@@jean-pierreuys1554 For me the Aero 100 is the racket that has to be beaten somehow. It’s extremely accessible to a wide swath of abilities. If you can handle the added weight of the 98 it pays dividend without that much more effort. If you sense the ball flies on you with either racket pick a bigger target spot. If you buy one, get another and try hybrid string beds. Start with the tension of each string at the normal tension that you like that string in a full bed. Same for the crosses. Have a great spring and summer. ps Take your old stick and add another layer of head tape to the head. Play with that for the first 30 minutes of your practice sessions. Adding tape as you can. Build up your muscles without sacrificing head speed. If that’s only 10 mins fine. Add a minute a week each session.

@tenncom Beckett, I know it’s largely string dependent, but the one thing keeping me at 18 mains is a racket’s length of effective playability. I’d love to play a more open pattern, but I want something I can use effectively for a solid 8-10ish hours as opposed to 3-4 (so 305 here makes more sense). I know you’ve alluded to that with your vcore98 review (ie it’s only good for a bit unless you’ve got super thick strings). I think “effective playability length” could be a solid category to add to reviews for people who aren’t restringing all the time and want to save on strings. Anywho, love the channel and debating switching from v9 18x20 to this for better spin and slice (the one stroke that oddly doesn’t click on blade)

Great review as always! I just tried out my friend's ISO305 tonight, love everything about it but I desire a bit more pop to put away my shots, and I can't really brush the ball to generate spin especially on my serve, do you feel the same with the 305s? My main (and favorite) racquet has been Ezone DR98 since its launch, with extra 4 grams at 3&9. And regarding the 300s, seems like it's comparable to the Ezone98 but with more connected feel? Could it be a switch from DR98? I'm looking for a replacement because my DR98 is feeling quite softer than I remember when it was new, sadly could be reaching the end of life :(
@TennComКүн бұрын
The new EZ98 is quite DR-quse with the throat flex. The TFIGHT 300S is way more forgiving than the new EZONE and DR imo but the feel is way different. Way firmer and crisper. I’ve got large hands and it’s ridiculously easy to find my semi western grip on my TF40. Of all the ways to grip it, semiwestern just fits the best in my hand and it’s uber stable and secure. Continental is pretty stable too. However, for my ohb eastern grip, I EASILY mis-grip. And even when I get it right, it doesn’t feel secure in my hand cuz it feels so narrow and tall in my hand. It’s a love hate relationship. If I had a two hand backhand grip shape would be a nonissue.

Bro what the Blade is incredibly stable. In what world is it not. It literally has a tech called stable feel.

It's not very stable at higher swing speed and ball speed

Most high level players add weight to increase the swing weight and stability

@@proshepherd gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. It's the most stable thin beamed 98 I've ever tried. And I've owned at an ISO 305

Crisper ezone 98? What’s that mean?
@TennCom21 сағат бұрын
The EZONE is regarded as quite muted, so the impacts with the ball can feel dull to some, so if you like a sharper hitting feel then the TFIGHT is a nice substitute. Basically just more vibration on impact.

Thanks B! Could you (as unbias-ly as possible) talk to how they compare against the '22 versions? Are they worth another $200-$300 bucks depending where you live?
@TennComКүн бұрын
i would only bother if you are having swingweight issues with the ISO

Hey Beckett! If previous generations of tfight are already mentioned in this thread, how would you compare the new ones to xtc generation? I'm still using a pair of xtc 305 from 2019 and quite happy except for stability at volleys. Are the new ones still very similar (like iso) and it's better to add lead at 3/9 or check out the new line if it is so mega-stable?

since when the blade 98 are unstable ???? V7 was a tank, v8 was ok, v9 is more than stable enough
