I'm actually wearing Tonka by itself today. Tonka is a really good one for a warmer fall day because it is not too strong but it's still a very autumnal scent to me. I am reminded of Mon Guerlain. I also have Iris and Cotton Blossom. They don't last very long, but they really are good. I wish Iris lasted longer, but sometimes I layer it with Dior Homme Intense to amp up the Iris even more. I atually love Cotton Blossom, but I mostly wear it to wear to bed. I want them to make violet.

The orange blossom one is my favorite. It’s really the only one I have ever tried but also the only one I really wanted.

LOL! Yes, definitely get the tonka if you find it. If nothing else it would be an enjoyable lounging around the house type of fragrance (though I suppose most of my fragrances are lounging around the house scents these days).

I love Vanille! It has good performance on me thankfully 😍 I picked up the fig one when you posted the sale on your community tab & I like it! I had Tiare but it had that sweet, suntan lotion scent that I’m not really a fan of. Almost smelled like a popsicle stick to me lol you have me interested in Tonka now 👀 lol loved the video & you look gorgeous, Tara! 😍💗❤️

I don't know why KZbin decided to suggest this video to me out of the blue. I've had Solinotes Tonka for a while and I love it, works by itself or layered, performs like a true EDP in that I can do the classic spritz it in the air and walk through the mist and that's plenty for a light application that sticks around. It's such a warm, comforting scent. I know I tried a couple of testers when they were in Target and none grabbed me. Sounds like I grabbed the best one first and I can stop wondering if I'm missing another big winner.

I had vanille and tiare but gave them away, they were just too sweet for me. You peaked my interest in iris and tonka ☺️

Thanks, Valerie! Yeah, some of them are a bit sweet for me as well. That vanilla is definitely on the candy/frosting vanilla side, but I don't mind it in small doses.

Thé Blanc is beautiful, refreshing and works well in the summer heat. Oranger is a very heady orange blossom and honey scent.

Yeah, I think they are probably best for layering and those are definitely two of the best ones. I'll probably sell off my bottom 6 or so.

i have not tried any Solinotes... I have seen a bunch of Demeters in our local website though... they also have single or note-focused fragrances.. i have never though of getting single note scents.. Maybe I will, to try and learn other notes.. but i think oils would be the way like you said, if I will be doing it for research LOL! :)

Yeah, I have a couple kits that I ordered with a lot of raw materials for training my notes, but these are still super fun and might be good for people who don't want to spend $100+ on some tiny vials of ingredients. LOL! Thanks Paola!

Cotton Blossom is incredible - it smells like Kenzo Flower but MUCH NICER. I’ve always wanted to love Flower but I hardly use it because it’s a bitter powderbomb on me, but Cotton smells incredible 🤣

I love the Cherry Blossom one! On me it's very bright and surprisingly aquatic. The cardamom comes through in the dry down. I was actually very surprised at the longevity given the price point. Did you notice a difference in longevity across the line?

Yes, I did! Some lasted quite a while like you mentioned but most lasted maybe 4ish hours. There were a couple that didn't last long at all, though. Thanks!

I tried vanilla and tonka. I don’t find any vanilla in this perfume, that’s really disappointing for me… tonka is great on its own, I’m mixing it with the “vanilla” and I get a sweeter smell which I prefer.

Thanks! I have color enhancing contacts for green eyes. I think they make them for every eye color, though. They don't change your eye color, so you have to get the ones that are the same shade as your eyes. They're prescription but the brand is Freshlook.
