I bought my Solis Barista Perfetta Plus 15 months ago and have been averaging 3 lattes/day, every day, for the two of us. I even took it to work and made over 30 lattes for staff one morning. It has performed flawlessly. I highly recommend this unit.

I am struggling to develop enough milk foam for latte art , can you provide some tips or a video on how to properly foam milk on the Solis Perfetta Plus. Also how long should it take to extract a single shot of espresso or how many grams worth is ideal for a single shot ?

Thank you for the information. First question is about the basket temperature: Is there any mean to have a hort porta-filter before starting to brew? Second questio : Does the Perfetta Plus have a OPV for brewing at 9 bars? Personnaly, I want a machine that can brew at around 11 bars. Thanks again.

It has OPV but it set to be at 15 bars I guess for pressurized baskets.

Finally, Bambino Plus Killer?

No. I have had one for almost a year now and I’m not a fan. I had an old breville (not bambino) that broke and replaced with this. The breville was better. What bothers me the most is the design of the drip tray. It holds water on the top and the top is sitting around the tray causing any water that’s on it to flow outside of it and just end up on my counter. Another thing is the portafilter is never hot enough and I have to always pour a shot on it to warm it. I like the steam power and valve to use it. It’s much better than the breville. The seal on it is not perfect though and sometimes water will leak / drip from it when I pull a shot.
