jerome - it's a battle rap ting. Typically because of delays due to crowd reaction. Battles are usually timed and most rounds almost always run on, sometimes because of things like crowd reaction of chokes but usually because the rapper has strait ignored the time limits when writing, creating an unfair advantage. The point of the countdown timer they are using isn't to stop those rappers writing that way, but to make it clear to the audience when it's happening.

Premier Battles - that is a dope solution! I've always thought that should be a thing! It's not about what you've got to say, it's about what you can condense down and deliver in a 90 sec timeframe. Is there any no limit rounds battles planned for later in the season?

ok zen won that, sol wasnt on form and ended his 3rd with 30 secs left!!.... to be fair though zen had 2mins in the 1st, 2.5mins in the 2nd, and 2mins in the 3rd....thats an extra 2mins in total so really he took over 4 rounds which wasnt fair either!!

1st -Soljitsu 2nd & 3rd - Zen Fair play to Zen if he was straight off the train to the stage. Pulled it back after a shaky first with a solid performance - Round 3 was impressive 🔥

I Rate both of these guys, but I feel like the energy and intensity in this battle is missing. Zen went over the time but the pop off wasn't there to make up for it. Soljitsu had his 2nd but too short. So it's a weird battle this one
