Close run there! Very scary moments in the boss room. I would have been in orbit a few times there. I have an auto-loading Seventh Seraph Saw I still use and it works pretty well. I haven't hated myself enough to grind Duality for Fixed Odds red-borders though. I have my boundries!

Someone in the comment mentioned about seventh seraph saw haha. I have one with auto loading holster. My problem is the ammo issue but having the seventh seraph saw with field prep solves the issue. Yes the duality is a drag. I would recommend if going for that dungeon, have a fireteam then solo. I got lucky with my fixed odds. When I killed the final boss I finally got the last pattern. The other 3 I made them into patterns because i couldn’t bother myself farming. I did farm a ton of it for hours during the pinnacle glitch. After that I got fed up with the dungeon for the final boss.

Based on your power level is how much damage and resistance you can be on Grandmaster nightfall this season. No one talks about it because no one wants to admit it or say anything. So I will mention it so players will know.

Good question. I wonder about this too. I’m sitting at 2008 and we’ve 2 man’d all previous GMs until Luminality, just couldn’t crack the final Boss phase. We went in master and completed first try. So I’m back on grinding pinnacles again …

@@Scottc_11I feel your pain of going back to pinnacles. I still haven’t got 2000 power level and I’m not high enough at a fair damage to do clean runs. I agree with you I have tested that nightfall last week on master solo with platinum. My weapons were doing decent but on GM it was gonna be over an hour run which wasn’t worth to make for me. I sadly have to wait until I level up for a run to be one hour and 20 mins instead of 2 hours. I’m capped of xp of where I have no advantage compared to PC where they can afk so easily to level up high for high dps and to be at least tanky for GM. There is a way on console but it’s too complicated and not worth my time to do it. It just tells how messed the whole leveling system is. It’s not fair for me. For a solo player like and who has limited time to play and wants to make videos but can’t because of XP.

@@Scottc_11 which room? Yes it’s a pain. I recorded some footages of shooting the blight for GM not sure if it’s worth uploading into a short or not. Right now Twitter is going crazy with Bungie and layoffs.

By the way, if you have field prep, enhanced or regular doesn't matter, on your machine gun, it increases the ammo you pick up. It behaves like having a reserves on chest for free so thats why your fixed odds gets more ammo. There are a few other enhanced perks that say "increases reserves " which have the same effect, more ammo per pick up and more total ammo when full.

I have one arc machine gun that has field prep so I’ll definitely be trying that out. It’s a bummer I can’t enhanced my warmind machine gun.

pika-shanks! i want some more powah! i can sense the powah! but blitz, u didn't say "after spending 1 minute of my life farming my super and transcendence from the hydra.." 🤣 i am somehow +16 without even farming bounties or anything. i think i spent 1 day doing bounties where i stacked bounties 1 hour before reset and right after the reset got the next days bounties, so 2 days worth of bounties in 1 day, but other than that just from randomly unlocking seasonal challenges, without really trying to level up the power bonus. i also have some challenges pending to be unlocked which i guess i will save until next episode or whatever when we can go past 150 because im already at 150. i guess i do like to do the normal matchmade nightfall so maybe the steak xp bonus from that gave me a lot of xp? 🤷‍♂

The new objective rework is ehhh without spamming abilities and prismatic. Yes, it is a method for xp. During summer is wedding season. I can’t really stack bounties like I used to years ago. They take a long time for me and it’s really boring. I have to put some music to get it done half. I am saving the seasonal triumphs for each episode now. It’s a dirty trick but no choice. Can’t afk for the easy way.

On warlock i use prismatic with getaway artist, as exotic weapon i use dragons breath with indepted kindness (voltshot+ lead from gold) and blast furnace (kinetic tremors + firefly), as super i prefer strand, instant damage to the boss, like this i can focus ennemies easy. was thinking about starfire protocole with well i think its gonna work really good. On hunter i use Lucky Pants with wardens law and Ghallajorn and pulse from dreaming city, its good i already tried it yesterday. The boss room is fine, but all the area before omg with those pikes, snipers, harpies...lol

There is an exotic I wanted to try for warlock but haven’t had time to use it. If you noticed on my warlock. I haven’t unlock everything yet due to burnout. I think tomorrow I should be able to get the stuff. It’s just I’m debating if a non prismatic ability spam run is worth it. Yeah the lucky pants on hunter is good. I just got a nice roll on it. The exotic crash is ehhhhh when you are not spamming abilities. I was testing it the other day. I wasn’t too happy at all. I got stuck at the ghost scan. Basically the fallen were throwing non stop grenades and overload champions arc seekers. So I can’t get near the stairs. Then the snipers kept shooting. Oh the worst part is after you kill the final boss you can’t skip the adds you have to kill everything. The door is closed and it won’t open. So it’s bad rework.

I’m on PlayStation 5. You have to go on the rock after you clear all the adds and champion. You press the R2 button to boast and then press circle to grind. If you look at your hover board at the menu it tells you the button of which ones to grind and to boast.

To be fair, trying to dps a brig with a bow is never going to do much damage, Revision Zero works really good

Ticuu can do dps on the brig. I haven’t test it this season since it’s no bows and not sure if it’s worth my time to test it. Yes, that weapon is good I try it on the other nightfall. Problem for me is the DPS just wasn’t high as I want. Especially the third phase it was a disaster. I have to revisit when I’m a littler higher power level. The boss was one shot me VS other players only getting only 3 shots from the purple attack. Now for the exodus crash there is a cheese but I don’t think it’s worth to get it done for a non prismatic run. I did the test twice and just wasn’t happy. If the game now is just rely on spamming abilities and melee then mind as well not be called looter shooter. Xp also pisses me off how much I can do fair damage at GMs this season. The game is holding me back and Bungie just wants solo players out of the game. I can’t do afk at the beginning to get a little higher for GMs. Warden of nothing I was going for the solo -40 run. Then lucky I got a pinnacle and was 2001 barely to get a run done.

@MsBlitzVI I disagree, I think they have made it easier for solo players through the years, especially for getting to max power since it's account wide and carries over between any character

@@c.m.6358 but the pinnacle drops are still rng. I went on my warlock so I can get a chest pinnacle, that way I can get the sweet 2000 power on all character. I kept getting helmet and all pinnacles activities. Sometimes barely class items if I need it. The path finder is the worst system. It takes too long. A lot of console solo players are taking a break and they are fed with the xp system of destiny. I just really want a balance for PvE and enjoy using weapons. Why I’m being held back because of xp why can I choose the pinnacles I want. Just like the levi long time ago where you put mods and which ones to get for weapons or armor. Those were fun moments of the game.

Its definitely a looter ability spam game right now and not a looter shooter 😂 I was thinking how different the game is after the past few weeks of GMs and people discorvering the meta. Which is: get trancendance back to back and pop supers in between. Fun in its own way but totally ruins any pve balance the game had and gives us less options how to play and not more. How dare you try to use your weapons 🤣 Also not sure why they still have power levels at all at this point. I can ignore in team environments but punishes solo players for no reason.

Yes I agree the PvE balance is all messed up. Let me use my weapons. If Bungie said they want to get rid of looter shooter then ok. Mid of well remove all the weapons then. It reminds me of overwatch where I remember when I was powered up I spam my abilities non stop. Now the game punishes me for trying to be a looter shooter in the game. I did test on exodus crash last night on hunter. Omg it’s actually really bad the reworked nightfall. Did you know at the ghost scan the fallen throws non stop grenades and you can’t get them because two overload champions are shooting arc seekers non stop at he stairs . This happens when the mini bosses is spawn in. If you think you can skip the champions and fallen adds they fixed that. You have to kill everything for the invisible door to open. You can’t skip it at all. I was literally 45 mins at the ghost scan. It does tell you how much looter shooter for GM is. Yes fireteam is lucky because they can grab the extra powah level to a fireteam. I actually did try to ask a clan who was 2019 to join my GM and leave so I can get extra power level. Sadly the method didn’t work.
