One of the most scenic rides in NSW takes me along Bylong Valley Way to Rylstone, then I turn East into Wollemi National Park to camp in a magical, beautiful place.

It's almost strange that we've both done such an awesome road a few times, but not together! I'll probably do a seperate video just about Ganguddy - it's just incredible! Nicole and I will be going there again later this year :)

The Bylong Valley Way isn’t as nice as it used to be. Lots of broken road. But maybe I was just grumpy last time I rode it, as it was 40c at the time.

It's actually a lot better now than when I drove it in '22 - it was shocking! And we got almost to Bylong and were detoured via an even worse road to Mudgee to then come back to Rylstone - a 160Km detour as Bylong was still flooded.

Don't you just hate it when you start having a 'rant to camera' about a caravan driver....when they pull over and let you pass 🤣 Bet those crusiers were none too happy about that bumpy road. Awesome scenery and photos of the sunset. If there is not enough room for a 6pk of beers...you've taken too much stuff. 😆 Always pack 'some space' on your bike🤣

I could have edited out the bit where he pulled over 🤔 I think the cruiser riders enjoyed it so much they went back... to pick up what fell off haha! That place is incredible, I'll be putting up a non-riding video at some point just showing how unusual and beautiful Ganguddy is! I've become old and sensible and therefore take enough "food" and "water" to last me the 3 days at camp... yeah I know, what happened to the care-free, crazy Irish musician?? (I did have a bottle of my moonshine if that helps...)

@@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger I think I've been 'old and sensible' since I was around 11 years old, having to 'babysit' my 5 year old sister while our parents were out trying to pay the mortgage and put food on the table....🤣.... Different times back then. She did a 200+ mile round trip on the back of my Yamaha RS100 in '76....she would have been 11 years old 😲😲😲 'I'm taking ******** to Rhyl tomorrow on the bike' 'Oh, OK be careful'..🙂

Hi mate! Thanks for the feedback, yeah this sort of trip s so much fun. Its a 2m x 3m hiking "fly" - they are usually over $100 but this one is a cheapie - made by Oztrail. I've had to repair one of the eyelets, but otherwise been very impressed with it. It came with 8 pegs and guy ropes, which is quite impressive. I bought the hiking poles seperate, they are the old fashioned ones that just slot together, that way I am able to fit them in my luggage.

Hi, I see that you have the original Honda hand protectors, how do you like them? I´m looking for some wind and rain protection but I don´t like all the weight and installation hassle of the barkbusters

Yeah I'm the same, someone gifted me some cheap Barkbuster rip-offs, and I looked hard at the installation nightmare and decided these were good enough. They do the job for wind and light rain protection.
