Solo Ashava WT 2 HC 4 m 33 s Diablo IV Beta

Biggest challenge during Diablo 4 server slam beta was world boss - Ashava. So I wanted to see how fast I can kill her solo on World Tier 2 as hardcore Rouge. Equipment/Stats at the end of video.
One rouge tried to help during fight but died 3 seconds after jumping on boss, so it's not 100% solo but I didn't have much time during this beta. Only 1 character with 13h 49min of playtime.

I’m guessing that lvl 18 made it harder, increased the bosses scaling being there

Same build I ran except I had cold imbue instead of Smoke Grenade (freezes most enemies and stagers bosses) but I am to chicken to play HC. Really nice job : ). If a HC character on death would move to SC I would play HC and see how far I could get : ).

I made very similar build in all previous betas. I told blizz that rogue is OP even during the closed beta. But I'm happy they didn't nerf them. This is definitely my class for the release :) PS. This was a lot more impressive than wudijo's solo kill. Congrats Tezuld!

Just wondering if you have the most insane right-click speed/consistency in the world or you were using a Spam macro on your mouse? I defintely see the benefit of using a spam macro if it saves you from having carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm just wondering if this is in place because spam click somehow gets more Twisting Blades out?

Rhetorical questions: how can they allow both a DPS timed event and a class that deals 4~5 times the DPS of any other class in the game at the same time? Multiple ppl uploaded similar videos doing the same thing... Using a Rogue. What's the point of being a Druid in this game or a Barbarian, or a Necromancer? They shine in what? You don't need a Tank anywhere, you don't need a Healer anywhere and you certainly don't need a Summoner neither. Why would anyone choose to do anything at least 5 times slower? Obviously you are fully geared under 14 hours if you kill 5 times faster and in the meantime can avoid literally everything, making enemies into inanimate objects..., because they can't ever hit you. Jumping around the map, while others slowly walk everywhere... The more timed events are going to be in the game, the more obsolete the other classes are going to be. Are they making Diablo IV or PoE 2? This game already looks like a glass cannon builder simulator. Ppl need to be blind to not see how unbalanced this is. Anyone who is not a Rogue is wasting their time. How would you even fight this in PvP with any other class? Armor is the same for everyone... Resistances are random... Other classes can't jump around like a rabbit, avoiding everything and i doubt that they are more tanky. I really want to see this game in a month when ppl try to PvP against this on max level, with anything but another Rogue...

@@Tezuld Yea I played Rogue for server slam too and I very often find myself running out of potions. While I managed to solo level 30 stronghold, I died many times. I am pretty sure other classes would have an easier time for that.

@@Tezuld Sorry, I actually kinda disagree here. Played HC Barb (Shouts/Rend) in Slam. Went to Ashava 4x, everyone has died usually died in first 3 min and I've danced for the rest of the fight. Got her to 40% once but never killed her. It would absolutely impossible to do it like this with the amount of successful slam/bite hits she performed in this video. (Not to mention the poison hit on 04:20 - although I would swear it wasn't your fault and you were standing in the correct spot). The brutal DPS secures the pots uptime here and you still don't get one shotted which is the only thing that matters. I mean I am not saying its not a great video and achievement, but mainly from the perspective of the theorycrafting and figuring out the build. Mechanically it is leaning really hard on the rogue advantages over other classes here.

@@Tezuld Don't get me wrong, this is still a great achievement, especially on Hardcore so congratulation for that. I don't have any problem btw with any class being able to solo it, my problem is exactly that on the same level in the same ilvl gear all classes should be able to solo it, or they shouldn't create time gated events, where DPS is the most important to have. I would really like to see a Barbarian/Druid or a summoner Necro being able to kill it under the same time limit. If they know how much DPS a class can have on level X, they could even balance the Boss HP for different classes, that's one solution for this problem, but i would like it better if there are no time gated events, so ppl who want to choose a different class or go more defensive have noting to lose. They shouldn't be just a burden for glass cannon DPS classes. These events usually work in MMORPG's because there is a tank, a healer, a buffer in the team and everyone has a job, not just the DPS.

Nothing will come close to rogue in pvp. Rogue is definetly the love child of D4. It has way more dps and mobility than any other class. It even has more animations than any other class.

@@lordcarl3094 fyi Alkaizer has a KZbin video where he solos Ashava with a Barb faster than Wudijo with a Rogue. Twisting blades will be nerfed, there was already tonnes of indications it was OP in the beta, and content creators have en-masse responded that it’s weird twisting blades didn’t get the nerf hammer. It’ll happen, I’m 99% sure. Additionally, note that this build is OP against 1 big monster with slow attacks, but it doesn’t do half as well in normal content. Druid for example has less single target damage but MUCH better survivability. Then again, there’s some druid footage where they do insane DPS too

The infinite energy is only infinite against big single target bosses, it’s pretty mediocre in normal clearing gameplay. On the other hand sorc can pick and choose 2 out of 30, undoubtably leading to insane combinations. Combine this with Rogue paragon boards being the absolute worst, this passive seems alright 👍

Impressive solo... Blizzard really needs to tweak that rogue specialization, way too OP to have nearly infinite energy to spam skills with pretty much no cooldown on it.

If they give 7 more options to choose from, then yes. But this specialization is only OP against large single enemies, it’s useless in random clearing. Sorc on the other hand can pick 2 out of 30 options, leading to way more OP combinations than some mana regen that this gives
