I grew up a bit north of Bourn Pond in the Brandon area. I never made to Bourn but I’ve been to plenty of spots just like it. This sure brought back memories for me. Thanks for the video

What a beautiful spot! Really nice enjoyed this one Craig! I hope to start doing some hiking down the road since it allows for quiet times like you just had. Need to get two new knees first this winter. Nice video man! Cheers!
@MeetMeOutside Жыл бұрын
Thanks, best of luck to you with your knee issues. I can relate, my left knee has been an issue for years. These simple get away trips into the forest really do a lot of good. I don’t feel I need to prove anything, and I certainly don’t feel that each time out needs to be “ the highest “ or “ the most difficult “ 😂 sometimes it’s good enough just to enjoy your surroundings.Peace !

Perfect little spot. Something relaxing about a no-nonsense solo overnighter. Have you ever done any fishing in that pond with any luck?
@MeetMeOutside Жыл бұрын
Absolutely ! I have never fished in there, other than Branch Pond. I would like to get up in there with my canoe,and fish for sure. Supposedly there are some big brook trout in Bourn Pond. Thanks for stopping by man ! I committed on your fly fishing video, looks like comments aren’t showing up ? Cheers

Welcome to my state brother! Looks like you had a wonderful relaxing time. Love that tarp by the way. Funny we were both out in the Vermont woods that weekend. I had the exact same lunch! But you had me on the parmesan cheese. Looks like a great spot. Kelly stand rd area is nice. I like the canoe portage idea. Might be a good idea for a video! I wonder who I could go with...? Have a great week my friend.
@MeetMeOutside Жыл бұрын
Thanks Kevin, this was actually this weekend ! 😂 Yes, the portage idea would be good I’m thinking in late summer, it might be a bit drier. There is supposed to be some good brookie fishing in Bourn Pond. It would be worth the effort to get up in there at least for a few days. I love going to that area, two hours away for me. Maybe a meet up would be in order ! Have a great week brother ! Cheers
