Thanks for a sneak preview of this trail...and the fly fishing potential on that section of the Bald River. Enjoyed seeing you on the trail before we ran across each other on the road and enjoyed spending the afternoon with you at my North River camp site. A special thanks for signing the 3rd edition of your book, "Hiking Trails of the Cherokee National Forest." More importantly though, thank you especially, and all the others, that worked so hard and for so many years to secure wilderness designations for those areas within the CNF. Impressive lifetime work (in addition to your day job 😉)!! Two more 👍👍!

Rick Harris tells me the USFS is working on fixing the creek crossing problem at the beginning. They plan to have a bulldozer clear a log jam that has diverted the water to Henderson Creek, which should eliminate that 2nd crossing.
