@@oldbloke204 Exactly. People sometimes have this idea that if you go camping in the wild it's not supposed to be comfortable. Bollox to that, I'm making it as comfy as possible with whatever I feel I need. Including blinging it up a bit for the fun of it. 😆

@@Johnniebhoy83 Yeah that's my theory on it all as well these days. Sleeping on the ground and smelling like a Goat aren't my idea of a good time tbh. One place we stay at has flush toilets and hot showers as well as an area with a sink to do dishes. It's 50 dollars a night but a very pleasant place to stay as long as you can stop the wildlife pinching your food. I don't stay anywhere these days that doesn't have a toilet of some description.

@@Johnniebhoy83 Yeah for sure. Funnily enough the last time we were camping a tourist on a mountain bike turned up in the camp next door with everything she used strapped to her bike. We invited her over to share our fire as it was cold, wet and miserable. She ended up spending most of the time in our camp or cruising around seeing the sights with us. I think she enjoyed not having to rough it for a while. Impressive effort travelling around parts of Australia on a pushbike as it's a big place.

The fun of camping is what it is all about and the joy that it brings to people. I have been camping for over fifty years whether it was at yachting regattas fishing in the bush or 4 wheel driving adventures in the High Country of Victoria. The amount of camping equipment I have acquired over the years has been imense. So to see you go camping in is quite interesting with all the new products coming on the market. Love watching you camp, but here in the states we have to have a tent with a built in floor, so many snakes here especially here in Georgia, our old canvas tent with a good thick floor felt so safe when we camped with our family years ago, you are so entertaining to watch, can no longer camp because of age and physical problems but I did it all in my day from rustic to a cabin without electricity or running water.

I’m too old now for backpacking, tent camping, and sleeping on the ground. So I got an SUV that I can easily use for real simple one-nighters. Wish I could have a fire, but it’s dangerous and banned right now. I haven’t been camping in 30 years, and I have been lured in by van life and camping videos like yours. Nobody else wants to go camping, so my dog and I will go come cooler weather. I won’t go too far, and I can’t leave my cats alone for more than one night. I think I will feel safer in a car at my age as well.

Ok I am just gonna say it and hope you don’t mind me saying…😂 This is exactly how many of the Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese people would like to set their camps up. For me, this ‘move your whole household stuff outdoor’ concept, is too much. When I camp, I’d like to keep it simple, or I might as well stay home. Of course, this is just my opinion. Ooh wow, I've been wanting to ask if you'd do a video like this. My instagram algorithm keeps showing me setups like this, especialy the stoves and things, but never in a practical way. You've answered my questions before asking them. Awesome 😄

The matching Dark Mode camp may not not be necessarily practical, But... it definitely allows for for another hole punched on your Man-card...Cool looking. ✔️

Hi Andy!!! So glad to see you again today!!! Turned out to be a fairly glamping camping outing. I have to say although all that gear if pretty expensive as a whole, it's really quite nice, isn't it? Could always set up a small tarp over it for the night in case of rain. Nice Andy! Thanks for sharing.
