Digger and I slept in the truck last episode, it was nice and cosy but this time we are sleeping back in the tent. We are camping on a ridge over looking the beautiful Australian Bush. This area is a recently logged section of the plantation forest.
It was a relaxing few days, although a little cold but a nice, cozy campfire kept us warm.

Hi, Inga! Thank you, I’m glad you find the video’s positive and relaxing…that’s just my intention 👍 Digger took to the kayak immediately…he is very inquisitive and loves to be by my side. So, sitting in the kayak so close to me and cruising along taking in the sights and sniffing everything we go past is very enjoyable for him. He also loves the water and is a strong swimmer so is very calm around water. He loves bath time and even joins me in the hot tub!…much to Mavis’s disgust, I’m sure Lol

Hi Frank! Epic camping, as usual! The views were lovely and the sunrise was stunning. Most impressed with your campfire. Love the way you constructed your own fire pit. Held my breath a little hoping the salmon didn’t take a nose dive into the fire LOL. It looked yummy. As always, appreciate the care and attention you give to that wonderful pup, Digger. Hi, Suzanne, that is my local area and for a long time it was just dense plantation forest but the loggers have been in the last few months and made some clearing. These are ideal for camping with a view to the horizon and a beautiful sunrise…I like lying in bed with the sun coming through the tent…It is a little exposed on the ridge but luckily there was no wind. That salmon was sooo good! But next time I’d hang it to the side and much lower, instead of over the top of the fire. That way it would cook the full length without the need to delicately lift it half way through cooking into a horizontal position…tense moment lifting it up! Lol

August 1 was anniversary of my sons death. The sun scenes meant more than ever. My husband died last week n my soul is overwhelmed. Thank u for these videos. They off a few moments of escape. I love u Digger TJ

That salmon was so good! Digger nearly didn’t get the second piece! Lol ASMR stands for Autonomous sensory meridian response. I and others who make videos like mine just mean that our videos are about relaxation and gentle sounds etc Technically I don’t think we are using the term correctly but it seems to describe the type of content I make

Ok. Me parece importate utilizar las siglas qué sean consenso en las diferentes disciplinas, permite que se entienda por la mayoria las clasificaciones qué se hacen.... Mi ignorancia es porque no estoy muy relacionada con el diseño de este tipo de comunicación, aunque tengo el sueño de abrir mi propio canal, solo que e otra área de la comunicación.... Hi, Louis, Thanks! the tent model is RV3. There's not much difference in the 3, 4 and 5 in appearance but it matter's depending on how many will be using it and in what orientation you'll be sleeping i.e. East to West or North to South. They are not cheap, so choose wisely!

Hay Frank. Over winter I have to admit to using one of the cheap Chinese Diesel Heaters, I leave it on about 14 or 15 and it's a dry heat so you don't tend to get a lot of condensation, plus it's a lot nicer to get up and get dressed in the morning!

do you use it just for a tent or do you have a camper trailer/van? I'll probably wait until I get a camper trailer...the ute is already bursting at the seems carrying all the kit. A Jpod Outback would be my ultimate set up but that's 30K 😳

@@4X4CA I have a squaredrop that I built myself with a Kings awning and awning tent on it. I run the heater into the awning tent and leave the door to the camper open so the heat can circulate. We built two campers, one for me one for the brother in law and all up on the road they cost us 10k each so less than half the price of an off the shelf one.

@@stevepratley Nice! I often daydream of building one but I can't weld. I would much prefer a hard walled camper than a tent trailer. I'll get there one day. I'd like to see some photo's/video, can you post some on your channel?

Thanks! I didn’t get the fly…I’m a light sleeper and thought it might flap about in the wind. What’s your experience? Does it make noise in a breeze or does it take a strong wind to make it flap about?

@@4X4CA I have had no issue with the fly. Tied down nice and tight, doesn't touch the tent at all. You won't regret it...

Hey, Steve! That was some good salmon! I might do more cooking on the fire...everything taste's so much better! Don't remember what the beer was...just grabbed a sixer of whatever was on special, some kind of pale ale I think. The other was a bottle of Port. Ive noticed I drink quite a bit while camping! Lol...might have to cut back

Love my salmon cooked with a crispy skin but I don't get much these days due to cost - my fish monger is around $40 per kg, yep good time now to be cooking over the fire while the nights are still a bit cool, once summer hits it might change to things more like salads, ahhhh yes it was the port bottle I was wondering about - when you first poured a glass I thought it was a whiskey. Happy trails mate..........👍😋

Your dogs nails desperately need clipping. It is affecting how it walks and will cause pain in the ankle joints. You have a great setup, and your video is very relaxing
