I was wondering what is the tent set up for when you are camping in the Tesla Y? Is it for eating inside the tent due to high wind and shelter from the cold? Pretty cool - I look forward for my first time doing camping in my Model Y this July at Half Moon Bay to catch the sunset and maybe catch n cook surf perch.

Although it was really comfortable sleeping in the Tesla, space is kinda limited! That's why I chose to set up the tent to have a dedicated place to eat, change, rest, etc. I hope you have a great time on your trip. It'll definitely be worth it!

I was going to give up when: he couldn't set up the tent; his mom and dad had to come set up the tent AND cook his dinner; he watched car racing videos; he slept in the car; he had hot dogs for breakfast; he put his kitchen inside the tent where bears might smell it. But then he whipped out a medium format film camera and I thought, "This guy's all right."

The tent was just to keep me warm and provide a shelter for resting/eating. Also, I wish I owned a Hasselblad! The camera in the video is actually a Mamiya 645!
