Hey I just want to say this was a fight that happened in my first week in the game. Participating in this fight was a ton of fun. Now 2 years later I have started that dreaded 6 months training time to turn my Marauder pilot into a Dread pilot so I can hopefully do some solo HAW content roams like this.

what distinguishes it from caiman? Basic EHP doesn't matter right? because they both have 5 lower slots and the caiman fighter doesn't seem too influential

About 20b lol. I've done the drift phoenix a lot in the past and really the biggest difference would be the extra dps that can apply to stuff you have tackled from fighters. But its also more micromanagement and people can shoot the fighters

Depends on many factors. I first did this after 7 years of playing but could have done it much sooner. I have been playing for over 10 now.

Why overheat MWD at the start? Did it not only hurt your potential for overheating everything critical for survival?

Speed is what makes this survive, so I just got up to speed the fastest. Heating provides a higher speed bonus which means not only higher top speed but higher acceleration.
