You are brave but have good in site. We are really never done moving and changing things are we. I wish I had the weather you had to be able to keep doors open and make changes. It hasn’t been kind here in Scotland. I don’t have a fridge as it’s cold enough things don’t spoil. Can’t wait to see the finished article. Keep up the good work girl

love your style, so romantic, nostalgic, warm and cosy - and very interesting the way you placed your bed; I never thought you could sleep diagonal in a tiny Ford connect, but obviously you do. How long is your bed in cm? And did you ever consider a bed the way "lady bugout" designed it in her Ford Transit connect? It is similar in a way, but still different, hard for me to explain, makes the mini camper more roomy the same way your design does😄

@@manuelaisabel2237 Ah Yes, thank you Manuela for watching the video. Lady bugut Bed design is excellent for her Ford Transit 2011. She also has a passenger floor bed as well. However, I had added a 55 qt BougeRV Overlander Rocky 50 Freezer/Refrigerator which Change my entire Layout. I had prior a Galley Layout and now I have split the Van Layout as Kitchen/BougeRV Refrigerator in Back Area… I only had one option to place Bed on front space and noticed I could also add a seating area in front of my kitchen cabinet. Now the Bed is Full Size Mattress instead of 27 inches wide by 5 feet 4”.. I have made a Double Area Lounge Sofa Bed and have many options to rest.

@@Fab50VanLife thank you for your instant response😁 Being in Germany I have still no clue what length your bed is, I am not familiar with feet and inch, so sorry. The Galley layout is something I definitely do not like and which I know I will not do when I hopefully have my first mini camper this year. This is why I am so thrilled with the kind of layout you and lady bugout realized in the van; "rock and roll bed" seems also a version worth considering for someone with better skills than I have.

@ I understand… here is my New Bed Size in Van… 134.5 cm by 203.5 cm A full-sized bed is 54 inches wide and 75 inches long, which translates to 134.5 cm by 203.5 cm. Best of wishes with your new Van Build.

@ I also posted a video.. Whats under My Bed which allows me to know access from Passenger Side, Both Slide Doors and Seating Area of my kitchen… allowing full Stealth Mode to access anything I need below my Bed.

@@Fab50VanLife this is a big bed indeed; I mean in a house 200 cm long is normal, but in a van...and the width of 134 cm is way more than a single bed here in Germany would have (only 90-100 cm). I never thought the Transit connect is so wide to create a diagonal bed which is 200cm long . I need to check the measurments of the Transit connect again to really believe this. I mean it would be fantastic because I have two little dogs who are used to sleeping in my bed as well.
