@@samuelbrozek5618 I would rather gaff it in a **non fatal ** , least harming location (lower lip) so to bring it on deck and remove the hooks rather than try to hand line a 30lb fish or try to net a big fish and possibly lose it with a big metal jig in it's mouth and another leader hanging out.

An ice fishin reel trick is to zip tie the reel to the rod. Try that if you are having problems with the reel slots/keepers.

I've had the same issue w my Siegler SGN on my OTI slow pitch rod. Seems like the reel seat isn't quite flat and maybe a little shorter than most. Other than that I love the reel

Have many wahoo been caught over there this year yet? I normally fish out of Panama City. There was one day a week or so ago a couple were caught but they aren’t thick here yet. Caught a little BoBo yesterday on the way out
