love it when they smash the topwater plug on an unintentional pause. it's a reward for getting out there and doing everything right. in the spring when the water is cool i will deadstick for 5-10 seconds somtimes, and have days where i will get more on the pause than i do on the retrieve.

I’m gonna be honest I found this channel a few days ago, and I lost my dog yesterday and this channel has really made that a little easier seeing you fish my old spots. I haven’t seen you fish the best spot in gulf shores though. It’s a spot where you can catch 5lb speckled trout and 30 inch reds in the same day. I’m not gonna say it here because I don’t wanna burn the spot that much, but since you have helped me through a hard time I will give it to you. If you want it message me or leave a comment on my last video and I’ll tell you.

fished Sebastian inlet in Florida and surrounding areas for years. First switched to single hooks and finally no hooks on jetty and beach for Jacks and Blues . Nothing pisses off other anglers like seeing you get a "hook up " without hooks . You get the thrill of the hit and then the art is seeing how close you can get to shore or jetty without fish releasing. Try it it is the greatest and doesn't injure the fish. The popper was one of my favorites along with the Atom 40.
@BamaSaltwater2 жыл бұрын
I love doing that, it's fun sometimes to just get the strike and not hurt/harm the fish in the process. Heck, I almost always just like to accomplish getting the bite and anything after that is extra haha.
