I've fished that stretch many times. Changes in water level, weather and time of year make it feel completely different from one trip to the next. Sometimes the rainbows are dominant, sometimes the big browns slip out to play. Such fun!

Absolutely! We run guided days drifting the Tumut River and even walk and wade packages fishing in Kosciuszko National Park in spots like this!
