Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Birthplace of the Vile under 20 min on Solar Hunter - Solo Grandmaster - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Dragon's Breath - Celestial Nighthawk - Platinum Rank - Gilded Conqueror - Solo Conqueror - How to Complete Birthplace of the Vile Guide - Solar Hunter Build - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
I was away for a couple of days but I am back now, and I decided to go for a quicker more meta-focused clear this time around in Birthplace of the Vile. Therefore, I am using Solar Hunter with Dragon's Breath and Celestial Nighthawk. This combo is extremely potent and allows quickly eliminating all priority targets, and also push the boss through the phases in less time.
Other than that, I have a Solar Hand Cannon (Zaouli's Bane) to lean into the solar artifact fantasy, and Mountaintop to burst down priority targets.

@@1Sox Probably the easiest way is to focus seasonal engrams into armor at seasonal vendors. Make sure to put on Discipline Armorer mod in your ghost

And Dragon’s Breath put in work especially in this GM, I’ve grown to love it so much that I’ve incorporated into most of my loadouts. Sick run, DB & nighthawk are eating good this season. Do you find that double loader is useful with On Your Mark as well? One stack of OYM with one loader maxes out the reload speed and an additional loader doesn’t decrease the reload duration multiplier, so I am curious. (Could be that I also prefer pugilist over explosive payload for more consistent ignitions on crit kills, and therefore more consistent OYM. I can see how EP helps with the screebs though.) I feel the twitchy mouse movements on the plates lmao, those screebs have a way of sneaking up.

I think you are right. I am not sure if double loader helps much, I just don't feel like there is anything else that is much more useful in there with a healing grenade equipped. So I just put an extra loader without thinking much. Probably kinetic dexterity for Mountaintop should be better. Explosive Payload is addictive, I am so used to it at this stage that it's hard for me to use a weapon without it :) It does help with Screebs a lot though!

@@KeerPlays DB and MT really shed light on the value of dex mods in PvE. I’m sure they have always been super helpful, but all the auto loading takes them to the next level.

I've only just started doing GMs and I've failed 1 out of the last 5 I've done, trying to use strand.. you make it look effortless lol

Make sure to take it slow when necessary. You can eliminate 5-6 waves of adds from safety when capturing the first plate, then they just stop spawning, and you can capture the plate for free. Also make sure to build up your Super before the start of each boss phase, so that you can eliminate a champion that will be there (Overload at phases 1 and 3, and Unstoppable at phase 2). Hope this helps
