I agree with you on putting the close cell on top of the air pad. I sleep so much better that way and I don't care what R value they give a pad, air robs your body heat. I like all 3 of my western mountaineering bags. Sleep is essential. Thanks for the video!

Jason, also, I’ve been using a hammock for six or seven years. Started with a war bonnet blackbird gathered end. Then went with the ridge runner bridge hammock. As well as I sleep in the hammock I am giving it up. And going back to the ground. After seven years I’m just tired of the set up time with the hammock, tarp, under quilt, top quilt. I miss the simplicity of a tarp or tent. All the best man !

Hey Craig these overnighters are the best! We always called them “ sanity breaks” . One thing I noticed is the clarity of your camera work. Absolutely outstanding! What a fantastic simple setup in the whites! Perfectly done again. You take care and heal from the operation, if you need anything let me know!! Seriously.... Pete.

Thanks Earl, you know doing a lot of paddling up until about two weeks ago, now the canoe is up for the season. Throwing a 32 lb pack on and hiking five or six miles in the Whites is not the best idea without working on it ! Gotta finally get this hernia fixed up and then get back to it ! Always appreciate your comments man. Cheers
