There are a few things I do not like about your videos. One is that they are too short, and another is there is not enough of them. And a third is I get disappointed when there is no new content to watch. You do a great, fantastic job on every single one. Thank you for your time and effort in producing these.

Thanks for your videos, they help me remember our cruising years from Connecticut to the Bahamas 83 to 2006 wnen we swallowed tne anchor after 23 years fulltime cruising. Narrative and camera are great as is your seamanship.

Sorry to be so harsh. I drive truck 35 yrs and when I see a weather system on radar, I park or drive around it. I just saw your site boating from NY to Fl. And got to ep20 then WOW !!!. Traveling the ICW was a challenge and enjoyed watching at the end of my driving day. Glad it seems to have worked out.

0:21 That's BAE Systems Shipyard. They take on contracts from *ANYONE* for literally *ANYTHING you can imagine* from maintenance to custom builds of several hundred feet (their largest dry dock can handle vessels up to 567 feet). BAE (the international conglomerate) is a relatively recent presence though, as they bought the independent shipyard of Atlantic Marine & Dry Dock, which I can tell you had been there at least since the 1970s. BAE bought the shipyard right after _'The Great Recession'._ Just like commercial flying since 9/11, the Navy is more uptight about vessel security than they used to be.

Sorry about the scratch. What engines does she have? Some of the wind was brutal on your microphone.

Sorry about the wind. Still working on that. Motors are 2006 Mercruiser 6.2 MX Horizons. 320hp each.

@@AdventuresofHappyOurs nice & by the sound I could tell they were gas. I was thinking they were 6.0s. How fast should she be going with 640bhp?
@AdventuresofHappyOurs2 жыл бұрын
Max I’ve gotten her was 25mph. Rumors claim 28+ but very few get that fast with those engines.

Hats off Captain to your solo docking skills! How did you manage to dock at marinas by yourself throughout the cruise? Did you call ahead for assistance, and if no one was available to help, like at the Jacksonville free docks was your first tie up a starboard side spring line?
@AdventuresofHappyOurs2 жыл бұрын
I requested assistance when docking at marinas. The free docks were solo docking but mostly side tie. The first line I grab is the mid cleat spring. Pulling that taught to closest dock cleat will keep bow and stern from swinging out.

I just caught your website last week and started watching the journey from my to fl.....got to ep19 Uhhhh I'm not a boater and in Ohio...I knew IAN was headed where your going ......what the hell is your boat sitting on land damaged ? You didn't know IAN was going where you were ? WTF ? I'm missing something here.

Me and ten thousand other boats. No one knew exactly where it would hit or how bad it would be. You just can’t up and move that many boats that quickly and fully protect for a cat 4-5 hurricane. You do what you can and hope for the best.

Ps ps dredging constantly moving just so you know. All time have fast tracks them goes for keeping all canals and icw open for comersiale ships use !!!!!! Them goes 2 times every year. 365 days every year. Totally normaly for them to move as water moves all ground in the buttum all the time
@Lordlindef9 ай бұрын
3.5 feet is then constantly. So not low water!!!! 3.5 feet under your keel all way from left to right side all over water. So telling people to be carefully cos it os shallow is only dumb as hell. 3.5 feet is 2.5 more then needed. And as allways THIS FEET IS CONSTANTLY 😂😂😂😂 your dingy is some of the smallest if you studdy all boats thats traveling canals. So stop say shallow and be careful. You lisens shud make you all to have c-map app for navigation and for see every feet of water
