I like abandoned building tours. I wouldn't have gone underground either. All the rooms were interesting to see. The end, though... you are a food adventurer!

I love these videos that show historic sites that maybe many people don't always think about seeing. This was very interesting also because I like seeing abandoned places. Good job, keep it coming!

I'm not sure what's bolder, wandering around in the 80 year old abandoned japanese base, or drinking fungus.

Hi Matthew, great video about the Abandoned Military Prison. Have to agree that padded wall portion looked kind of scary. Can't imagine what peoples lives were like living within the padded walls. Being all concrete it must have always been damp and cold in there. Must say you were pretty brave to explore in there on your own.

This is not military prison, This was Chinese after WWII occupied Taiwan and made this place to become prison to torture Taiwanese!!!

You should have gone down the basement, if Attack on Titan is to be believed, that's where all the secrets are.

You’re braver than me, Matt. I kept waiting for a jump scare in one of those spooky buildings. Looks very interesting though, I’d like to explore.

I lived in Jakarta as a little kid in the 70s and the stories about Japanese occupation were a thing. It's surprising that the Taiwanese haven't turned these buildings into a museum or monument, though maybe they are still just exhausted by dealing with China as well. Today I saw a fancy mushroom drink at Safeway and was not brave enough to try it.

this place is a museum. it's run by the government. It's not really abandoned.

This video had a very eerie feel to it. Which was good, until the random floating bits in the fungus drink. That was eerie in a bad way...
