I’ve come to the realization that people love to dislike others and what they have. I appreciate what you and your wife are doing and I love gear as well but I’ve stayed in a ground tent in 2 ft of snow with a Walmart plug in heater and cooked over a fire pit and enjoyed it. I say you keep doing your thing as many people appreciate it. I own a safety consulting company (G3 Safety services, LLC in Florida/OSHA related stuff) and have thought about creating a KZbin channel because I watch you channel and it’s nicely done. I say YOU and Kira KEEP doing your thing and I hope others realize life is short and they should get out and enjoy it and buy and purchase what they want as it’s relevant to them. Heck, I’m dying for a Gladiator but will be waiting a little bit. Overall I really enjoy your channel. 😊

I appreciate so much that you take the time to clean up after the degenerates. I'm always worried we are going to lose these beautiful places because of the lazy folks that just don't care. Keep doing what you do, great content as always.

We plan on one day being able to try out the overlanding experience. We have a three year plan to get to where we want to be. We will be starting out with the basics and that’s fine with us because you have to start somewhere. Great video once again Matt

So I’m new to overlanding per say only been in it about a year now but most of our stuff came from Walmart academy and bass pro do think it would be sweet to have a jeep like yours yes but I love what I have and it’s the adventure that I get to take with my wife that I enjoy the most and I think people forget that great video Matt keep up the good work

Good video. I couldn't agree more, to each his own. Overlanding whatever vehicle, gear, etc you see fit to use. It's not about what you have, but how you use it. Love the camp kitchen slide out. There might be one in my future
@dwood20102 жыл бұрын
God bless you for caring about the planet and cleaning up messes that you didn't create. With people criticizing each other over what gear they use, unfortunately a lot of people have inferiority complexes. Also, a lot of people don't understand that you're not a young whipper snapper. 😂

I swear Dome Life was camped in that same spot, with the cascade in their last video.

They were. It’s one of the Dome life’s go to spots when in AR. Nice area!
@chrisdavis67893 жыл бұрын
Was going to say the same thing. Matt, if you see their trailer, they (The Dome Life) had a NoBo teardrop type trailer stolen recently at Lake Sylvia on the east end of the forest. If you see one randomly around, please report it. They have a video on it and it was stolen in broad daylight according to campers in the area.

What water formation is that at ~31 minute mark? My kids and I are going overlanding in the Ouachita's over thanksgiving and that place looked beautiful. Definitely checking out Flatside pinnacle and Crystal Mountain too.

New Sub! Retiring from my job in MD soon, and moving back to my home state of Arkansas. Going to expand my channel more into camping, have a teardrop ordered. Will be living in the Hot Springs area and can't wait to start exploring! Maybe I'll run into you out there.

How you liking the RTT Global road outdoors? How does it do in wind and stormy rain?
@OzarkOverlandAdventures2 жыл бұрын
I freaking love it. It does pretty good in the wind and I’ve survived a couple rain storms in it.

Hey Matt. Can the tent close with the insulation panels? I’ve tried with mine but have had a little difficulty. Wasn’t sure if there is a trick to it. Thanks! Love the videos.
@OzarkOverlandAdventures3 жыл бұрын
I close mine with the insulation and my bedding in it. Just gotta make sure the bedding is pushed to the back of the tent and it closes easier.

All KZbinrs jump the shark as soon as their videos become about products and not the adventure. Not to mention trust because we know they are given these products free to promote. There are a few that can create videos without the product placement but not many. It must be difficult. This channel mostly keeps the product promotion separate from the trip videos which is nice.
@OzarkOverlandAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that. I do try to keep them separate.

Like your channel about the ouchitas. I think your gear is appropriate for what you're doing. I'm not really into overlanding, I hate driving lol... good job. Oh, one thing I'm a little confused about, your hairdos are quite odd, and kinda mean you're gay.
@OzarkOverlandAdventures2 жыл бұрын
A hairstyle means a person is gay? 😂😂😂 Your comment means you’re a poor excuse for a human. I’m sorry you’re so petty and judgmental.

@@misskimridesagain We call this time in Arkansas "Leaf off" season...It alows us to see the rolling mountains better, so for a change it is Gorgeous. We also love the fall colors we have in Oct/Nov as well as all the waterfalls. I have no doubt that The PNW is also Gorgeous, but I personally Love the Natural State...for reference I'm from the Mississippi Delta :) A big Mud flat...But we have some of the best sun rises and sunsets!
