This is our idea of self quarantining. Unfortunately living in Ohio, USA, we don't have anything quite so blue. However, we're spending copious amounts of time as a family fishing and kayaking the local lakes and streams. Gotta respect that social distancing, right? Honestly, we're loving it. With me working full time and one kiddo in school, we hardly saw each other. This is a blessing in disguise.

Apple Valley Lake, is so much more beautiful, especially in early fall and late spring....just saying Ben....dont know if youve ever been to a very hot and humid part of the world...but where your at is fucking stellar compared to the misery of the heat and humidity and mosquito and bugs of Australia. Not to mention Lake Erie and many others , Personally id take fall cabin on lake where your at over most parts of the world any day

Used to have a pet crayfish, his name was "Norman". He was a smart one, he was. I remember waking up one morning, couldn't see him in his tank, went on a search for him to find him in the kitchen, next to the cat food bowls, with the cats on the opposite side of the room, staring at him. Plopped him back in his tank, re-duct taped all holes, went down the day after, to find the exact same situation, and duct tape strewn across the floor... Can safely say, I think if I had tried to cook him, the tables would be turned and I would be the dinner.

Another nice one mate. Those cray sangas looked delish. Just a tip, food security is important in the field as you have found out. I use a dry bag suspended from a tree, much safer from dingos, birds, ants, possums, and goannas. Also, a hoochie and mossie net would take up much less room and weight than the swag. Maybe something to think about on your next trip with Dash. Great vid mate. Oh, nearly forgot. SWR 7 Mar 2wks, come down. Cheers, BobbyB
