ah man the official translation messed up one of my favorite lines. when dokja says "i must live my own life" he actually says "a dokja must live a dokja life" which is a pun on his name (a reader must live a reader's life), (an only child must live a lonely life), or some combination of the two. yu sangah misunderstands him and responds "then i will live a sangah life!" (or 'i will live an ivory life', which is what her name means) and says they should both live dedicated to being themselves

It was mentioned in the Demon World arc in the novel (after Kings/ Absolute Throne arc, after Ruined World Arc, after Sacrifice Arc, and after Dark Castle arc... Still a long way for the manhwa to go. ( It's not major spoilers, don't worry about it) It's just sad that they never saw his real face.

For the Dokkaebi, I picture his voice sounding high pitched or similar to the bear from Danganronpa, then going deep when he gets serious. Also I recommend Unordinary and Tower of God. Both are action packed with great characters. There's also The Red King. It's a Supernatural story. The artwork is beautiful. Oh and Sweet Home is great if you're looking for horror.

Imo Omniscient Reader's viewpoint novel is alot better than the Solo Leveling Novel but in a story way. Solo Leveling was more hype and you felt each summonings power but this one is just wholesome and beautiful story. Alot of great quotes too Keep in mind I hated the Solo Leveling ending

Yooooo I just spent the night reading all of omniscient reader from chapter 0 to 50 (the latest chapter) This shit is gas. Everything I was hoping to get from solo leveling I got from omniscient reader. As of right now I literally can see a problem with the manwha but as of right now it's a 5 out of 5 story for me and would definitely recommend it if you felt solo leveling was lacking outside of awesome fights.

Fascinating thing about Omniscient Reader is that it is basically Solo Leveling with bigger emphasis on story rather than power fantasy damn Dokja constantly needs to outwit his opponents just to survive plus he is interesting protagonist: picking allies for practical reasons, manipulating others and generally being active guy unlike most MC who are cinnamon rolls who constantly get betrayed and do not learn (I am looking at you Bam!) BUT BUT BUUUT! biggest selling point for me is absence of romance! at least for 55 chapters I read Dokja is not in any romance, ship or what you want to call it, my man just tries to survive in that screwed up world and kick Joonghyuk's ass and I LOVE it! I dropped many Manhwa, manga and anime because of a forced useless female characters who slows down the story for romance it is basically a check list at this point but in Omniscient Reader? Nope just 100% unstoppable plot

idk if someone already told you. in Korean names, you spell "EO" like a weak "O" or "U" in "sung". fyi Sung Jinwoo (Solo Leveling) is actually Seong Jinwu (성진우) so "Hyeonseong" is "Hyunsung" (현성) Jiwoo Seo (Eleceed) is not Jiwoo See-o but Jiwoo Suh (or Suh/Seo Jiwoo / 서지우) also spell "Baek" (벡) like you spell "Beck". i see that in official release, they wrote the surname at the back (to match how surname works in west), meanwhile in fan-translation they follow how it's written in Korean (East Asia countries surname is on the front). Solo Leveling got their English official release after the manhwa got popular so almost nobody call the MC "Jinwoo Sung" but "Sung Jinwoo" (following the fantranslation/scans). btw, i'm a new subscriber here 🙋🏻‍♀️ i enjoy your videos.

Solo Leveling is largely focused on the theme of 'one man army' and many factors contribute to making SL amazing such as its art and dialogue (the famous "Arise" for example). However, I have not read its novel so I can only speak for myself, SL is not as OP as I'd initially thought. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint by far is the best novel I have read in terms of the memorable characters, all of their character building, the story progression, the numerous stories within the story, KDJ's tactics and wit in solving scenarios (if you give him two options, he'll create the third one), the story mechanics (which can be viewed as so meta), the villains becoming friends and/or being used by KDJ to achieve an objective. . .there's so much I could go into. Everything relates, everything will make sense.
