The manwha is probably the most satisfying power fantasy story Ive seen and after this first episode Im quite optimistic that the show can live up to the source material if they can maintain the quality during some of the larger scale fight scenes.

Fun fact: The very first scene is not in the manhwa (Korean version of manga), but RATHER it is in the light novel. It gives me hope knowing that there is a good chance that they will be delivering the entire story. It will be amazing, and have a better delivery of a story than us fans could ever imagine. Side note: THANK YOU A-1 Pictures for living up to everyone’s expectations so far. The last seasons of sword art online were animated fantastically as well.

As someone who's read and reread the Solo Leveling manhwa probably at least five times, the fact that they gave ppl a sneak peek of the ants at the start had me SWEATING. I don't anticipate the visuals in the anime to be on par with the still panels in the manhwa, since such level of quality would take ages to animate and maintain, but I can say with confidence that the first episode gave me chills throughout, especially towards the end. The soundtrack is awesome JHEBJHWB

I love some of the small changes they have made, as some people have already said, the first scene isn't in the Manwha. They look like they are adding in extra little bits for world building and explaining important parts of the story without pure dialogue, and so far its looking great. Can't wait to see what A-1 does with this!

Well, the concept of Solo leveling is the same with the genetic theme in Manwha with the regards that you'll only read stories with hunters and dungeons. What makes Solo Leveling stand out (out of all the stories) is the art work that the author put into it and the plots which are quite confusing sometimes but will be acknowledged as the chapters go by. I mean the build up from the get go up until the last chapter is really crazy.

I heard about it several years ago and just so happened to watch the debut thinking there was an entire series already animated for me to watch. So far, I'm really happy about this adaptation. And I like how they did the introduction scene, 100% anime original. Because of the different medium, the initial exposition should be done differently from a first chapter of a manhwa, so i agree with doing something original for an introductory scene. They did the right thing to choose an action packed scene which not only introduces us to key characters but also prepares us for one of the later arcs, the jeju island arc (the ant infested island)
