Solo Moto Camping in Scotland / This is the plan

about 50 mile north of Stirling is a motogrill at Ballinluig I used once on the way to Elgin which was okay.

ITs the B869 Drumbeg loop Known as the WEE crazzzzzzzy road .. has the best beaches on the NC500 and is a breath taking 24 miles of pure Awesomnesss :))) truely Bostin.. 😁🤓💯🙏🤳 The 500 actually turns left on the A837at the Lonchinver fire station. But turning right on the Calimoto rout into the town of Lonchinver and then left onto the minor road before PEET'S café. is a far better rout back down to the A835 through Inverkirkaig .. 🤓💯❤‍🩹 Did it last February because of having to abandon our NC767 for 24 hrs due to a 70mph stormfront bringing trees down..💯🙏🤓❤‍🩹🤳🏻🙏🏻

Good to bump into you at Glenshee Ski Resort. Looks like you deviated a bit from your original route! Hope you're having a good trip, have to admit, I've been up here 1.5 years now and still not gone way up North into Highlands, just as far as Glencoe and top of Cairngorms. I got back home Ok, Givi box stayed put, just needs a new rubber washer to stop it wobbling.

That first day is a big one. Like the other comments below, I reckon you need another stop before then. Your comment at 8:42, that's Loch Lomond which has strict control on camping.

All the way to Inverness in a day? Can you adjust your itinerary bcos that A9 from Perth is average speed check cameras, rear facing too, so even bikes have to maintain the speed. The A93 from Blairgowrie, Braemar to Tomintoul is so much better. I've done the NC500 & Scotland a few times over the last few years, it's mega. The west side takes longer, average speed is much lower. Fuel isn't the issue people make it out to be. If you ride an empty10, then maybe, but if you're getting 200mile/tank, you'll be fine.

Your not the first to say about the A93 I will look into that and thanks for the advice with the cameras, but by the sounds of it I will skip the A9 altogether 👍 Inverness is a long ride but I just want to get up there as soon as I can so the fun parts begin, the internet says 200 miles per tank but the way I ride I would say around 180 miles from experience, EMPTY 10 😂 best one I have heard yet 👍 mines THE MT09
