OKC was my stomping ground until a couple years ago. Arbuckle Mountain pies are fantastic, especially the peach. Seaba Station is a great destination for a day ride from the city, and going further to Stroud and having a schnitzel at the Rock Cafe makes it even better. OKC’s food scene is incredible, and the thing I miss the most about living there. Not enough to go back, but still 😅

Nice. I’m a native Okie, still living in the Tulsa area but originally from Tahlequah, the capital city of the Cherokee Nation of which I’m a citizen. I ride a 21 Low Rider S myself. Love my bike. I really need to put more miles on it, but I lost my youngest son Joshua not long after getting my bike, and I went through a loooong period of not riding, or doing anything else. A really dark time. Anyway, I’m feeling better and ready to get back on the bike. Nice to see Oklahoma getting some love!

Oklahoma has always been one of my favorite states actually. Definitely underrated. When I drove over the road before I retired I used to have several dealership customers in Tulsa and OK City that I delivered autos to. My very favorite breakfast joint is a little place across the street from the casino at the first exit on 40 when coming into the state from Ft Smith, Ark. I can't remember the name of it. Stay safe out there and enjoy.

I live just South of 66 between Arcadia and Wellston. My son and I frequent Pops on two wheelers frequently...never fails to meet all kinds of different riders hanging out at Pops! (But STAY AWAY from the "disgusting" soda aisle! That will never end well...). As mentioned, the Chicken Shack is a must do next time (although I liked it better when it was in a literal shack at the gas station in Luther). Also of note...there's a local farmer's market store near that Round Barn that stocks various seasonings from that Butcher Stand BBQ joint, of course among many other locally sourced treasures (the 7-salt blend is a MUST)...it's my seasoning of choice when smoking up some ribs! That bumpy road IS improving...lots of re-paving done and in progress along that stretch (though 66 through Wellston is currently closed due to turnpike construction).

I really enjoyed this video, you showed us some great places to investigate that would normally get overlooked by most travellers. I love the fact you are wearing proper protective clothing when you ride, I can't tell you how many people I see riding in Tshirts and shorts without a helmet, Sturgis seems to be ground zero for this type of thing. I have unfortunately seen first had the results of people coming off their bike with no protection and it isn't pretty. Leathers and a helmet have saved me in the past so I never get on a bike without them. Here in the UK we have a saying that it's not if you have an accident but just a case of when you have an accident so always protect yourself..... Lecture finished. 😉 twist the wrist.
