I'll try to remember to do that more. 3rd is a pretty rare gear for me unless there are lots of long climbs! 1st and 2nd can do a lot.

Impressive work Pat, really fun to watch. I slowed the video down to 25% in an attempt to watch your clutch modulation but it's really hard to see with the camera angle. Think I'm stroking the clutch too much during obstacles, just need more practice with it living at the bite point. Any pointers on how to clear these mental hurdles?

The clutch is constantly being used, but the movement is very small and hard to see from this angle and frame rate. There’s a little better look in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHi9n3yJfpmUd7c Getting used to being in the slip zone is key, and getting to it from clutch out and clutch in is important.

@@PatSmage I slid my clutch lever in towards the center of the bike, so I am working with the endish of the lever. Not as touchy for newbs.

Hello! I left my fork with stock settings, no changes. I only went 1-2 clicks from stock on the purple knob on the bottom of the shock. I can’t remember if I slowed it down or sped it up on this bike, usually I slow it down but my last couple bikes have been set different. I am not far from this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmGsp4ljn7-Mn5I
