Corrupted Apex after buffing ur warship by 500% damage and 50% firerate even though it does not get affected by buffs and also corrupting it instantly, and just to make the game more of a pain in the ass he somehow makes ur warship unable to be sold for 20 seconds and when said 20 seconds are up then ur warship instantly dies lol

Tbh, this dosen’t downplay the issue of power creep in my opinion, this is just a testament to this guys skill. Just because someone can technically beat a mode with what many view as an inferior tower to another one, dosent mean that their going to do that in practicality. People, unless they’re seeking a challenge, are more likely to just go with the easier route of using the new strong towers. While I’m not saying power creep is a huge issue at the moment, it’s ignorant to downplay it just because someone beat a hard mode with an older/inferior tower as a challenge. This is about practicality, not technicality. Again this is all MY opinion.

yeah but your arguing with a bunch of kids, no matter what game it is theres gonna be the rotten apples who dont read and just sling insults everywhere, powercreep is going and will continue to be an issue for tdx imo, theres no way to kill it with the ever so increasing difficulty of tdx, of course there are ways to deal with this but unlikely (i think) is power creep ever gonna get removed

@@redfoxgaming961agree 100% one game can never truly eliminate power creep, in order to entertain a player base you need to add stronger towers, I think the one semi-solution to power creep is to make the towers more expensive in early game so it’s harder to use, see heli nerf, brilliant balancing

Another solution to powercreep is to ensure there is a trait or quality amongst units that cannot be replicated by others. For example, a reliable High Damage unit. Their entire purpose is simple, inflict high damage onto enemies. Therefore, that should be a quality or trait that should remain exclusive to them. Any other unit that can inflict high damage must be circumstancial or extremely situational. If you add another unit whose entire gimmick is also reliable, high damage. One or two things can happen. 1: The unit is a much better version. 2: The unit is a worse version. Therefore, adding a unit whose core purpose is similar to one is counterproductive. Besides, John said it best in one of his videos. "Adding new enemies tend to change the game more than adding new towers."
