Roses is the kill shot. It's what I was looking for the minute he said he was doing this solo. Jamal is the R & B king of K-pop for me.

Jaehyun solely wrote dandelions' lyrics while he co-wrote Roses. There's also another pre-release song from the album that he dropped last week which is "Can't Get You" it's a fashion film from PRADA. And he also solely wrote the lyrics for that one. You should check that video too!

Jaehyun has such a mellow/calming/sultry voice with a very good pair of ears😭🙏🏼 he knows what type of music suits him the best He's a versatile artist but ain't gon line rnb is his genre🙏🏼😭

Yeah I had the exact same reaction. Loved dandelion but then ROSES came thru and I was like nahhh this is album is about to be crazy. In articles he is credited as the sole writer of Dandelion and for Roses he wrote it with a few others. I believe it's been said that he had a bit of writing on all the album. He has a teaser for another song called "Can't Get You" which was produced by Babyface and J.Que Smith and man that's another song that is just soooo good.

The absolute talent this man has, his vocal rule that almost no one heard has now exploded the bubble of harmonization. I hope more people will see the artist who he is and not just his beautiful face. It is simply a musical genius, tooth -of -leon and roses are two different types of flower images with conflicting humor, this transition from lion tooth and roses is insane. He has perfectly captured how different the two songs are, besides the way music video has everything, from love to pauses, complaints and happiness, regardless of age, nationality. The music, this MV came to tell us everyone: "Hey, this is my voice and everything I can do with her," rubbed the voice in our typans, that was so amazing Fckin at the surreal level, and the part where The beat changes to slowly R&B is different and so thoroughly thought he gave me chills. That's why I was as anxious for its reaction and I asked varies, lol, is fire. TANK YOU.🔥🤣

The reason why the lyrics of Rose include Valentine's Day is because Jaehyun's birthday is Valentine's Day. I think there are probably things like this hidden throughout the album.
