I was a rigger. Your door problem is because the lift point has to be directly above the door or back some from the front point. As you lift the door higher with your system, your pulling it forward not vertical. Two poles mounted into deck with cross beam above it would work and eliminate the poles in the view. I used to fabricate equipment etc. I do everything twice was one motto

I love that you do not edit out your errors, missteps or the other little occurrences that come with such a project. It would be so easy to put out an edited "See, wasn't that easy" video, rather than a realistic example of just how projects go sometimes. No matter how well planned your probably going to ride the struggle bus here and there. Great content.

@@hoppes9658 I agree. Although the symbol used here is a witch/wigan as it has only one point at the top. A Christian would see that as anti Christ but the witch may not. The goats head of satan has the 2 points at the top as the 2 horns . Sad that she doesn't know what she's displaying. 🤗🙏💞
@aevalk83693 жыл бұрын
Actually I do know at great deal about it. I know it's as a symbol with a number of meanings, depending on the region and time period, far older than the later gnostics (before and after Jesus came) and other religions in that area co-opted it and used it to hide behind at certain points. Somewhat like "accepted" organizations, clubs, etc. today hide behind claiming one religion, but actually behind close doors have the same old gnostic rites and beliefs that never really left. The inverted symbol conflated with a goat is fairly new in the historical record and traced back to a particular artist during the medieval reign of the roman church, who combined various concepts as part of a larger body of work at the time. Later people snagged it to use in newer groups. Early Christians in some regions once used the original five pointed star also, (five wounds of Christ) but the fish symbol, which had many meanings at the time, some tied to other religions, is the only one that suited the people who had control over all education, artifacts, ancient texts, and unfortunately all believers chose to write about. They were the new greco/roman face hiding behind Jesus but whose actions were the same as always. I'm not wiccan and do not worship satan. Evil doesn't own anything, not stars, colors, shapes, even itself. I worship no created being, thing or institution, that includes humans; nor do I accept in any way, shape or form another created being's control, judgment or interference with my faith in the Creator. My relationship with Jesus is not up for debate, I only pray to God and concern myself with what God thinks. I understand concern and deeply appreciate true concern, but it's misplaced and unwarranted with the star and my personal choices. If someone is playing God, then that's for God to deal with.
@heatherclayton-callaghan42703 жыл бұрын
@@aevalk8369 Deception comes in many forms, hence the Bible teaches discernment. The coming if Christ to the earth wasn't the beginning of Chrtianity, it is the fulfilment thereof. Anything and everything that is not of God is of the devil/evil. There are no shadows in God , as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Symbolism is the downfall of those who choose to try to explain their understanding and knowledge that only reveals the opposite. These are 2 totally different concepts:Praying to God, and living with Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord, as explained by Jesus to Nicodemus in John chapter 3. I pray you too will accept this most glorious gift from God the Father of His Only begotten beloved Son Jesus and the out pouring of the Comforter the Holy Spirit the manifest power of God on earth. The anointing will break the yoke of darkness and deception and sets all captives free. It is , of course, your choice, as to whom you will serve.....be it God or not. My only hope is all humanity chooses God and thus a transformed life in the Spirit for now and eternity. 🤗💞🙏🤗✝️

I am so impressed with people like yourself who have the skill set to not only document on video the difficult and challenging endeavor but the ability to do two jobs that are both difficult: professional Filming of yourself on your own and building a cabin. I would gas out in about 2 days and your 23 day project would take me 90 days. Bravo!

Seriously though, it's impressive you did this project alone, and it's phenomenal work! I loved watching every second of this video! God is cruel. I don't know what I did that's so bad, I treated others as I wished to be treated. I've tried to be humble, love my enemy, give thanks for my blessings. I've just been punished over and over again this year. It hasn't stopped. I'm done with God.

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. "But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." (I Pet. 1:4) All believers must learn to patiently endure a world full of evil, evil that God does not send upon His children, but the enemy, who only comes to kill, steal and destroy. However God's Word teaches us how to take on and defeat our spiritual enemy, satan and his dark kingdom. You must be strong in the Lord and learn how to wear your spiritual armor, the Armor of God in Eph. 6. Wear it daily, and learn to use the sword of the spirit and the shield of faith. Ask for help in all these things from believers who are more mature and strong in the Faith of God, which is in Jesus Christ. This is how we have learned to survive and will be soon thriving.

@@lapislazarus8899 being done with God is exactly what the enemy wants. When I became born again the enemy attacked me relentlessly for a year straight. I continued to pray for direction and protection. Pray without ceasing and don’t give up. Heaven and hell is very real and your eternal soul belongs at home, with our Father in Heaven. We come out stronger on the other side of our trials. Wearing the full body of armor calls for absolute righteousness every day. I’m not saying you aren’t, hoping to help you. I promise you are loved by God, He will not forsake you if you serve him every day. God bless you and yours. I will pray for Him to speak to you in only ways He can. All praise and glory to Him.

@Lapis Lazarus Please remember, my friend, that no matter how badly the enemy afflicts and persecuted you, there are always many more folks who have it much worse than you do. That thought has often helped me, as awful and tough as life has become for us, especially lately.

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, but your pulley system will work a lot better if attached to A frame cabin. You could even add hand crank. Just need to get fulcrums right. Loved video & cabin. Happy camping!

@brandylou91323 жыл бұрын
Yes, or, you can just add some pillars up, and across to make it taller. There are also pulley systems with wheels to create some leverage. There are a lot of ways. I bet you already figured it out anyway.
@scottydroptop89243 жыл бұрын
Love the whole cabin and your design choices. A solution to your lifting wall problem, run an extra support beam along the two outside sections and buy the highest pressure McMaster/Carr style gas struts you can find (should be about $50 or so). They work on a heavy SUV rear hatch, they'll work on your cabin wall and will get rid of the pulley system you don't like. You could also add a couple pivoting support arms to the two outside corners of the wall that drop down with gravity as the wall is lifted by the struts. Just food for thought.

I have to tell you, I’m so impressed with your tenacity, spunk, and love for the outdoors! You’re incredibly fit, healthy and I appreciate you going out of your way to film so much footage! A few years ago I started learning and loving woodworking and building… our first projects totally alone can cause most others to quit and not return and try again, I certainly have built failures. You on the other hand did a fabulous job your first time! I can absolutely see you’re more educated with building structures than you think. And again, you built a cabin alone! I especially adore your dog, she’s gorgeous and reminds me of my Aussies! My boy passed away but I have my girl, she talks much like yours when she’s nervous or has an opinion so thank you for sharing footage of her! I hope you can find some great resources for the opening wall here on YT. In fact, as of now I have no need for a cabin, but I adore cabin/shed builds so if I find something worth your while I’ll message back a link.
