Nice to see you back mate. Max respect for your honesty. MH is Something we all need to be more honest about. As my old army doc used to say: ‘no one has a problem saying my old ankle injury is playing up again; yet blokes are still scared to say my old mental health injury is playing up again.’ Every time a brave man like yourself talks honestly about MH, the bonds that tie the stigma to MH get weakened a little bit more 👌❤

Been feeling the same recently after the breakdown of my relationship and coming back from 6 months on tour. Started doing the things you talked about. Exercise, time in nature, better eating habits and laying off the booze etc. I was super low but one day I just managed to turn up for myself and took a walk in the autumn sunshine.Your words from this and previous videos always inspire me to check in and try and be good to myself. Thanks to you I am finally starting to feel like I may actually be ok and there is light out there beyond the dark. Stopped drinking 2 years ago. I didn’t have a problem with drink but when ever my head went and I slipped into the darkness, and hated myself, that’s what I would use to numb the pain. Told this year I have depression and now trying to get better. It won’t be perfect but exercise, therapy and serotonin is helping. The one thing i’ve found with my MH, which has been going on for years now, is… Once you have found your way out, always remember, your brain now has a road map of how to escape it again in the future. Don’t despair, yes they’ll be a period of not doing the right thing, but like a cork we start bobbing back up towards the surface, be gentle with yourself and others. Big love to anyone and everyone who needs it, warm hugs and strength heading out into this beautiful world of ours. You’re a cracker Hazy! ❤

For decades, I've suffered, I actually know what you're trying to say. Camping was, for me, a thought process that got me out of my head and crap thoughts that i have, then I had an accident, and I'm unable to do it anymore. I'm so thankful that I found motorbikes again, and it's brought me back up. Like you, I'll never be 100%, even 20% happy with my thoughts, but here is the thing, like someone who has a stutter and listens to music they can talk because they can't think of anything but what they can hear coming through the speakers in their ears, biking for me for a short time gets rid of my negativity, if only for a set amount of time. Sending guys hugs 🫂 thanks for sharing, and see you on your next adventure 👊 🤙 🤘

Tough times for myself too at the moment, but never forget that no matter how bad things get, it’s only temporary. Keep on keeping on, try our best to do our best, and even when that’s not good enough, it’s no matter. We’ll learn, we’ll grow and do better next time. Or the next… Love the videos- they’re a help, they’re an education, entertainment, a laugh, connection, validation, escapism…. So many things to so many of us. But don’t put pressure on yourself for regular uploads. It’s hard enough to find time for interests and hobbies when you’re working, when you’re a Father, you’re a Partner, you’re a Son, a Brother, a Friend. I don’t get out to the woods as often as I’d like or need, and I’m not filming it and then spending hours editing and uploading. We appreciate all you do and most important is you only do what you want to, you’re able to, and, you look after yourself. Any day a Hazey video drops is a good day and I for one don’t mind how long the wait. N’owt but 💚
